Why i think you need to fix Ebon Rift - Player version.

Movement decrease
To start with, in the tooltip it says that is reduces movements of targets within 20ft by 100%...
and this is a blatant lie because one only needs to activate it on a group of enemies and
they simply start walking out of the zone of the Ebon Rift - this needs fixing..
If you movement is reduced by 100%... you're STANDING STILL.

Gravitational Pull
Another thing that really needs fixing is the gravitational pull of the Ebon Rift, because currently
it's non existant. Toss it on a few enemies and you can see ranged enemies (that doesn't need to move out to engage you)
are very slowly being drawn into the rift... at the speed of cold syrup.
The gravitational pull of Ebon Rift on enemies needs to be such as, so that any enemy which isn't activating a charge,
will be COMPLETELY unable to avoid being drawn into the center of the Ebon Rift.

Damage.
Lets face it, the damage on Ebon Rift is a joke, and everyone in chat (when talking about Ebon Rift) has agreed 100% that
the damage is a joke. It takes 6-7 seconds to drop everything else and channel this ability which is completely and utterly
broken in all aspects, to gain a damage per 0.5sec tick that barely tickles the targets, and meanwhile, we're not
casting any other spells or using any other powers that would EASILY outperform Ebon Rift during these 6-7 seconds .

The damage from Ebon Rift needs to reflect the time it takes to channel it for maximum duration,
and losing out on casting any other powers for the duration of the channeling.

Currently, Ebon Rift is one of the most useless powers one can actually pick, since it really only drags the entire performance
down and has no room or function in any build where it would (in a working state) otherwise increase performance
and be worth channeling for 6-7 seconds.

Does the Endless Void adv. do anything useful? That's the only reason I might play around with it.

You get ONE tick of healing for up to 5 friendlies nearby, probably within range of the damage portion. This is regardless of whether you maintain it full duration or just a single click tick.

I have this power on a Life Drain, PSS Rec healer simply to try it out (Orichalcum).

I've seen crit ticks of about 4.2k at the Cosmics. Otherwise, it procs Fear (at a low 10% chance per tick) which helps on the use of Life Drain w/ adv.

I wish this thing was better, but I agree. It's not even worth using in it's current state. Combined w/the CD, it's just not even a remotely competent AOE attack. It's almost like a watered down meteor blaze. And everyone knows how much of joke that thing is.

I dare any of the devs to come up with reasons that the Ebon Rift should remain as it is.
Personally i think that the 6-7 seconds it takes to channel the darn thing should be reflected
in both damage and debuffs, because you're literally spawning a rift full of ebon energies.

Spawning the rift and see enemies simply walk out of it while taking a laughable amount of damage
is nothing short of disappointment and waste of time. And ontop of that, Ebon Rift is a part of
    the Tenebrous AT powerset.
