Archetype: The Reiki (Undying Warrior)

The Bard is Back! These heroes' touch can turn the tides of any battle with just one touch! By manipulating the Chi of enemies and allies, The reiki can halt evil in their tracks.

Role: Support (INT/Pre/Dex)
Themes: Medic, Midas Touch, Astral Warrior, Cleric, Swooping Savior

New 2pt Advantage: Weakening Touch - Your Energy Builder now has a chance to apply “Crippling Challenge” Chance scales with Damage penetration rating. (Melee EBs only slightly cheaper than normal CC)

New Power: Reiki Alignment
You are able to temporarily increase maximum health.

Heal - Buff
Melee Dimensional single target Attack. Must be maintained fully for 10ft AoE Stun (Admonish)
Applies HP boost (Reverence) to up to 5 allies within 20ft. Amount of heal depends on stacks consumed.

If targeting enemy - Melee only! Longer cast time (it best used on held Targets) Consumes stacks of hold resistance for HP boost (Conviction).

If targeting self/Ally - Provides 100ft lunge. Provides +Breakfree and +HP (Reverence) to ally. The charge-time of this power varies by length to the targeted ally. Over 50 ft requires full charge (give server time to calculate jump)

2pt Adv - Third Eye - Applies Devoid or Illumination to target
2pt Adv - Crippling Challenge

Animation is melee reskin of Rebuke for Unarmed. Heal lunge looks like Mighty Leap but end of lunge looks like heal rebuke. Longest range lunge in game but it only works targeting allies (See Perfection of Body Lunge distance). Why the long distance..? Because sometimes using movement powers throws your character off a cliff. Would be nice to get back in flight without needing to fly or recover.

FX is glowing hands (think iron fist)

New Power: Sleeper Hold
Use your grappling to surprise the target up close and personal.

Single Target Maintain
Lunges a short distance and roots target while maintaining. Puts target to sleep if maintained fully. Targets woken from sleep are disoriented.

2pt Adv Astral Leap - Adds Chi Flame DoT
1pt Adv: Cross Body - Now applies a 20ft AoE splitting effects between targets

Animation is Relentless Pursuit Reskin for Unarmed. Character should hold arms out like a wrestling grapple. At the end of full maintain, position player right at the rear of enemy (great for Shadow Strike).

Your hero can assess the battle field making critical decisions easier for your team and focusing them on critical information in combat.

3pt Adv - Lucky Charm - Doubles Crit Severity to self but only for Heals. DPS crits now proc Trauma to target instead of increased dmg

FX is Hunter Patriot Commando Aura

Scales with INT or DEX whichever is higher

+Sleep ignore on paranormal DoT powers
(add this to manipulator too and remove innate from Telepathy DoT)

Activates whenever you use a Chi DoT or HoT (Bountiful Chi Resurgence, Chi Flame, gifts of the Storm)

Animation is "Crackneck"
No FX

New power: Chi Storm
Summon a storm of chi energy and press it into action damaging the foes daring enough to come close to you.

Melee PbAOE Incapacitate
Deals Dimensional Dmg every 0.5seconds for 5sec to up to 5 targets.

2pt Adv - Tread Softly
2pt Adv - Bug Zapper - Enemies within 50ft are pulled to caster. This pull scales with PRE instead of Ego

animation Reskin of Lead Tempest animation with Advanced U-FCA Brain scrambler Psionic Pistol FX (without bullets or pistols)

New power: Astral Awakening
Can be used while defeated or alive to resurrect with 100% of your maximum health and grants buffs (Health Regen, Damage Resistance, CC/Knock immunity) for 15 seconds. 5 min cooldown. Grants flight but also HEAVILY snares you for the duration. You can roam only far enough to get out of a radiation pool or hazard. After 15s your health is reduced by X% and you are immune to healing effects for 10s. Shares Cooldown with AD and Self Rez powers

Self Resurrection/ Active Defense

2pt Adv - Eyes On Me
1pt Adv - Fighting Spirit

Animation is “defeat” character and astral form rises up from it (the regular get up like when people use Become Celestial and you get up by your feet OR the Last Stand animation.
FX is Astral form for 15 seconds.

New T4 power

Re-skinned Mind Link (NO FLYING!) Scales with INT

Dodge and Avoidance boost while maintaining.

Damage taken is reflected as healing to teammates (provides large BCR During maintain with both adv in it). Excess healing is shared as damage at the final hit.

After a full maintain, procs a massive PBAoE knock (like the knock on power chord) and drops a rune that will revive one hero every 4 seconds for six seconds.

Animation is Martial Arts stretches
FX - A “Master of the Mind” avatar above you is in “meditate” pose above your head while you maintain this power. Also “Gifts of the Storm” FX whirl around the AoE. Rune is chinese lettering


Set Notes: Because DoT and HoT scale with Crit Chance and severity this set uses those focuses to increase its base healing while not really increasing its dps output much BUT its aura to the team and ability to lower its own cooldowns rapidly this set is made to get in to your teammate, heal them. Attack the enemy in their face, and get out before the bad guys wake up and realize you're there. This set uses aggression stealth as a weapon because it can't take many direct hits but rather gives, long sustaining heals to allies that last for like 8 seconds at a time and uses offensive "Reiki Alignment" as its larger heal, esp once targets have stacked Hold Resistance.

Higher PRE or Dex will increase set healing. Higher INT will reduce cooldowns (or just INT specializations)

One major hole in this set is there's no mechanic for "Damage Penetration" when it comes to heals. My initial thought was allow Damage Penetration to provide "personal Force Field" HP but that's kind of a major change.. Open to ideas for "Heal Penetration"
