crit DR and spec tree bonuses

There are many ways to raise your critical strike chance temporarily within specialization trees. For example, if you "Expose" a target via Find The Mark in the Guardian tree, it raises your chance to crit that target, but this chance increase doesn't show up on your character window's crit chance. What I'm curious about is whether or not those kinds of increases are subject to diminishing returns.

ie- If character has a 40% crit chance normally, and applies "expose" on a target, does the increase stay the same no matter what their crit chance is already? Or do diminishing returns change reduce it?

Some actually are additive. If you are at 40% and it says "+10%" it actually goes to 50%. And, then there are those that are multiplicative through a formula. So, there's no telling what kind of a bump you're receiving.

This can be said for many buffs in the game. Most don't show what the actual output IS. And is difficult to properly show when you have a Crit value but are receiving +10% crit to your MELEE attacks.

Which brings me to what I'd actually like to see. SHOW the actual change in the number(s) affected either by what is directly shown OR when you mouse over the value shown, you see the (example here)--> (40 + 10 = 50.

And adjust the colors, or more information, to show what is what. Like red for the hard value. And other colors for the soft values, as described above. So it would make more sense when you see 40% shown but the mouseover formula adds up to 50%, then you know you are not getting the full buff for everything, but the +10 is going to the MELEE damage, from the example.

Generally, crit-based stuff coming from spec trees that use percentages are DR-free, like the crit debuff from Find the Mark, or the various +crit% and +severity% bonuses from many different spec trees. If instead it's something that gives crit_severity rating, like Brawler's Glory of Battle, Dex PSS's Combat Training, or Dex Mastery - then it'll be subject to DRs. Dex's innate crit boost is also on the DR w/ general crit rating.
