Stats and diminishing returns

Do diminishing returns differ dependent on whether you stack a primary versus secondary stat? Say, for instance, if a Might build picks intelligence as primary but stacks all strength, versus the same toon picking strength as primary, and stacking all strength? Will diminishing returns affect both equally? ( I think at about 520? )

    Diminishing returns for super-stats only apply to the basic superstat contribution (what shows on tooltips in your character sheet), which isn't really a big part of character power to start with -- most of what matters is forms and passives, neither of which has DR, and basic stat function for things like crit chance.

    Diminishing returns won't differ based on whether you stack a primary versus secondary stat. If you have 500 points in your Strength stat, it will have the same diminishing returns whether it's your primary stat or a secondary.
