Blowing the dust off an old infernal toon in the holiday spirit. Mixed some old builds i found on the forums. How's this look?

    Although the build can potentially work, Defile spam is going to be pretty expensive. I'd make sure you have strong energy stats (Ego, End/Rec, cost discount) for it. Also, Defile's poison chance isn't guaranteed, so you could maybe consider switching to Concentration or Chilled Form as the toggle/form (assuming you want to keep the same attacks/rotation). I may also skip on the VD adv for Ebon Void, unless you plan on playing around it.

    So would you recommend dropping dex for rec? and what would you get in place of defile?

    Defile spam is still fine to base around (it is Infernal's best single-target attack, after all), you just need decent energy stats for it. I'd recommend trying any build out in the PTS (assuming you have access to it) w/ the gear_stats you think you'd have, to see how the rotations work out for you (if using Supernatural Power, then that means you don't want a lot of stuttering or delays in-between Defile uses). You can make adjustments easily on PTS too, so you can test out different setups. If push comes to shove, you could also use something like Power Conversion to afford Defile, though I'd prob treat that as a more drastic measure.

    Juts curious how you're finding Supernatural Power as your energy unlock? I use Mephitic but never tried SP. I also noticed no Infernal Blast. While I mostly spam Defile, I have noticed that sometimes stacks can drop off using just Defile due to the 50% chance RNG, but a full charge occasionally with Blast helps keep stacks maxed. Blast automatically refreshes all different types of poison stacks with just a tap, and that also helps keep them maxed. I went with CON rather than DEX as a SS mostly because I'm worried about the HP loss but that's just me. I'm not really a very skilled player and like that extra little safety net

    This is a recent ranged Infernal build I leveled. He's got OV and JG Efficiency pieces and R7 Mods; no energy issues. Helps to throw Wisp whenever it is off CD.

    Well, if energy is fine, then it sounds like you're gtg. I may also get 3/3 in Focused Strikes in Vindicator, if you want to prioritize Defile a bit more than Epidemic (and you could also get 3/3 in Find the Mark for Guardian).

    Good idea ill take another trip to the power house once servers are back up
