Laser/TK?

I've learned to absolutely love TK powers, but I've also always loved the laser sword. I was wondering if there might be a good laser/TK combination of powers, primarily focused on laser? I wouldn't have the first idea how to put it together myself.

Well, although there's not much synergy between the sets, there are still a few ways to mix their powers and make it work out. I'll give you one example for it:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.44:37

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Specialist (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Int: 8, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Covert Ops Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Con: 3, Int: 3)
    Level 9: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 12: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 15: Coordinated (Dex: 5, Int: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Kinetic Darts
Level 1: Lightspeed Strike (Rank 2, Particle Acceleration)
Level 6: Ego Blade Frenzy (Rank 2, Mental Block)
Level 8: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3, Silent Running)
Level 11: Form of the Tempest
    Level 14: Particle Wave (Illuminate)
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Luminescent Slash (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 23: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Telekinetic Eruption (Enhanced Form, Inner Peace)
Level 32: Telekinetic Shield (Rank 2)
    Level 35:
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: 32/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (2/3)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
Brawler: The Glory of Battle (1/3)
    Brawler: Penetrating Strikes (2/2)
    Brawler: Ruthless (2/2)
    Brawler: Setup (2/2)
    Brawler: Flanking (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

The last two powers can be w/e ya want.

It alternates between Lightspeed Strike and charged Lumi Slash for single-target dps, while using EBFrenzy as its main AoE attack. Particle Wave can help group up enemies in front of you, while TK Eruption can be tapped to put up another self-heal and a defense buff. Particle Wave, TK Eruption, and Conviction can all help proc MSA. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Int.

If I could avoid NW I'd prefer to; I already have a stealth character, and although I love the insta-kill move I'd like to be a little less squishy. Is there a way to keep Telekinetic Eruption without that?

I suppose laser and gadgets would work too. I figure there are probably more synergies with that.

Keep in mind that you don't have to slot or use either Sneak or Shadowstrike for NW to still be a good general dps passive. I may still employ NW here (taking out it's 1-pt adv), since its stealth aspects can be completely ignored and because it can boost all dmg types well. However, if you did want to lean a bit more to the defensive side, then I guess you could get WotW instead (for it's higher dodge & avoid), or maybe get Unstoppable if you want more passive knock resist, and assuming you still want to keep this as a dps build.

Also, I'm unsure what you mean w/ the TK Eruption comments, since TK Eruption's Aegis adv is another way to make you less squishy, and I already gave it to you in my build. The build should also be pretty survivable for a dps, since you have plenty of healing sources and EBFrenzy's dmg shield to fall back on. I suppose you could swap Brawler spec for Warden spec if you want a bit more defense, but that will also be a bit worse for dps overall:
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Elusive (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)

It's alright, I'll probably just keep it the way to suggested. Thanks!
