No trident weapon skin in melee blade?

Correct me if im wrong. Trying to make character only finding trident is heavy weapon only. I keep asking myself... why... why...

A trident isn't even a heavy weapon. Make trident for melee blades.

    It is weird overall why we not have any Melee as Heavy version and vice versa. Questionable decisions as always. Same goes for Telekinetic Blades and Laser Sword handles. And not get me started on the mashup of SMG, Sniper, Rifle, Experimental Blaster and Gadgeteer Rifle.
