Rebuilding a character

I'm working on rebuilding an older character of mine and I want a good build for her. Previously she was an Electric DPS but was always such a glass cannon, is there an Electric build that has some decent survivability while still remaining primarily a DPS?

One way is to have some con and go a dual passive approach. If you are willing to give up a bit of HPs you could opt for Dex instead of Con. The current Devs don't like Active Offenses. Imbue can still be nice if you hit it after losing a good chunk of hit points followed by Resurgence. You could opt for a Threat Wipe instead of an AO.

This'll give me some decent survivability without sacrificing too much DPS?

Well, that's the trick to having a dual passive build. In situations where someone else has aggro you blaze a way without much worry in Ranged role. If you are solo, and the going looks like it may be tough you can hop to a hybrid role with Invulnerability, and if it is really tough you use a tank build. This is just one approach. You just have to accept that if you want to do lots of damage all the time you won't have as much survivability and you will then need to evolve strategies to mow down whatever might attack you super fast before they get off much of a shot.

You can also go the cheaty route and get a Psionic Accelerator and CC threatening mobs first before you unload on them ;)
