However, I've been having trouble with energy and squishyness. What are some changes I could make to this to be A. simpler B. Slight better energy keepup until I get better gear. C. More survivable

    Maybe somethin like this? You had a real mix of long and short range and I wasn't sure which you wanted to emphasize, so I went shorter. Pump up your Ego to get more cost reduction, severity and damage through Concentration stacks. Added a block and some different heals. You had a LOT of AoEs. I tried to pare it down a bit to make room for some more survival powers. Swapped Dex for Con and Avenger for Guardian for more defense/HPs. Could swap Wall of Bullets for for just R3 and go to R3 in the block. If you want more of a mix of long and short again you could drop SMG or 2GM and go for either Assault Rifle or Gatling Gun.

    Open with Rocket. Close in and use either the grenade first to stun, or go directly to shotgun for AP and fear. Then use either SMG or 2GM as warranted.

    Hi Jaaz, Thank you for this. I should've been more specific. Range can be kinda variable. I did want to focus on assault rifle if possible. Would Switching two gun mojo for Assault rifle Work? Or should I change a few things

    Yea, as he mentioned in his post, you can swap TGM for AR just fine if you want the extra range. If you want to fully optimize AR, then you'd get R2 + its special adv and also get Gatling Gun w/ the Listen to Reason adv to refresh Furious (after you put up 3x Furious w/ Rocket + adv). Gatling can also apply/refresh the Armor Piercing debuff from long-range (so you don't necc need something like Shotgun for it then), and Gatling would only need to be tapped to refresh Furious stacks and the AP debuff if both are already up then.

    R3 AR is still fine on its own too, though, if you want a simpler approach that keeps most of the other powers in tact.

    Sorry to Necro this, just got back to the game. Everyone here is usually ridiculously helpful. I was using the Build Jaaz Recommended, switching TGM for AR following Flowcyto's advice. I just wanted to make sure this build is still good with the Nerf to Gatling Tap? Should I switch it for another AP weapon?

    Unfortunately, Gatling Gun no longer reliably refreshes the Armor Piercing debuff on tap (if it's already up), so if you want a reliable long-range option for the AP debuff then you may want to get Straight Shot in Archery w/ its AP adv. Alternatively, you can still use something like Shotgun or the Frag Grenade for the AP debuff, but you'd have to get w/in 50ft to apply it then. AR is still fine to use (though I am not aware of a tap nerf), so you can still keep it, if you like.

    If you are still using the Uncompromising adv on AR, then I'd prob still have Gatling w/ adv for the easy 100ft refresh of Furious on tap, yea (and as a spam-able 100ft AoE option, when maintained).
