  Well, the description for the power doesn't state that EBP scales w/ Ego instead of Str, unlike those for the regular TK Blade powers. So perhaps it is intentional.

  Good question. One would hope that a melee power which is specifically for Ego Blades would actually scale with Ego.

  You mean like how Mental Discipline are Mental Precision are based on Ego?

  Well, there's been a big fat trend of moving away from EGO and STR for forms (at least newer forms), so I'm not too surprised there.

  TK Blades as a whole are still definitely very good. I only raise this question, as was said, that one would indeed hope that a power designed for such power set would scale with the same stat as the rest of them.
