Gadgeteering Build help

So, I really want to make kind of a fun build using mostly powers from the gadgeteering tree. I have no idea what to fill most of this build with, and I'm not really sure if I wanna go for damage, support, or a mixture of both. The only thing I know for certain is I must have these 4 powers:

Munitions Bots
Support Drones
Implosion Engine
Orbital Cannon

Beyond that I've got nothing. Any idea what I could throw together using these 4 powers?

and thank you c:

Okay, here's a simple dps build using those powers:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Ranged Damage)
    v3.44:36

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Intelligence (Primary)
    Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Glacier (Dex: 8, Con: 10, Int: 10, End: 10)
Level 6: Covert Ops Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Con: 3, Int: 3)
    Level 9: Investigator (Int: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Coordinated (Dex: 5, Int: 5)
Level 15: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
Level 18: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
    Level 21: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Sonic Blaster
Level 1: Pulse Beam Rifle (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 6: Concentration
Level 8: Targeting Computer (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Sonic Boom Generator (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Orbital Cannon (Rank 2, Anvil of Dawn)
    Level 23: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 26: Thunderstrike (Recharge)
Level 29: Support Drones (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Energy Shield (Rank 2)
    Level 35: Munitions Bots
Level 38: Implosion Engine (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Intelligence: Preparation (2/2)
    Intelligence: Enlightened (3/3)
    Intelligence: Detect Vulnerability (3/3)
    Intelligence: Expertise (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (3/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (2/3)
    Mastery: Intelligence Mastery (1/1)

PBR can be your main single-target attack, while Sonic Boom Gen is your main AoE. Taps of TStrike can help proc MSA, and give you an extra self-heal. Also threw Orbital Cannon and Implosion Engine in there. The pets aren't going to do that much here, but will add to the theme, and the drones can background heal a bit (provided they don't get destroyed). Gears mostly for Int, w/ some Con and Dex_End.

If I did take out the pets, what would you replace them with?

Well, you already have most of the other powers you'd want in a dps build here, so it's fine to keep the pets for flavor, if you want. Replacing them would just depend on what else you want to add to the build (threat wipe, AO, self-res, more CC, more heals, etc). Could maybe also consider adding taps of Chest Beam in for Burn Through, which can help boost PBR a bit.

I'm a fan of Toxic Nanites, Sonic Device and Miniaturization Drive. All have situational uses.

actually wait, forget the robots and drones, I want to go full gadgets. I wanna be dps, with int PSS, concentration, and molecular self assembly, but molecular self assembly gives energy back for powers on cd, so I should try to stack up a bunch of cd powers, right? like miniturizatiion drive, toxic nanites, sonic device, etc. and then maybe I could take nanobot swarm too, right? I think that reduces the cd on every power that's currently on cd. Is there anyway I could make a build like that work, or is that too much random stuff? I just wanna be like a swiss army knife of gadgets and gizmos, but I also wanna be endgame viable :c

edit: someone in-game also recommended that I use entangling mesh/gas pellets with the trapped spec in overseer tree for easy damage boosts and MSA procs

Yeah you generally want cd powers for MSA, but even just one short one can be okay for it, as long as you remember to use it. I'd prob also get some of the On-Next Hit powers, like Jaaz suggested, but Nanobot Swarm is okay too.

Trapped in Overseer w/ a quick Root can also work fine (TStrike also has a root adv, iirc), if you want to emphasize a bit more team-oriented play over personal dps/defense.

Since you are out of adv points you will move around slowly, get a vehicle for the traveling and use Teleport as a TP, it will help in bypassing trash mobs in missions and could be temathic as well.

If you do not want a vehicle you can get Jet Boots, the fastest flight TP, if I recall correctly.

Also I would skip Preparation in the INT tree and go with the bonus offense from Tactician, since you do not get much END anyway.

You have no heals in that build. Going to have to drop some things. Should have at least Conviction and Resurgence.

Yea, I'd add back in Sonic Boom Gen so you have a spam-able AoE attack, and also add back in at least one heal. For example:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Ranged Damage)
    v3.44:36

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Intelligence (Primary)
    Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)

Level 15: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Level 1: Sonic Blaster
Level 1: Pulse Beam Rifle (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 6: Concentration
Level 8: Targeting Computer (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)

Level 29: Sonic Device (Rank 2, Rank 3)

No, Gas Pellets is just a Snare, so it doesn't proc Trapped.

Should be a fun build. Start the Orbital Cannon, throw the Implosion Engine, Sonic Boom Generator until mobs are gone, PBR on whatever is left. If you find that you are too squishy still you could drop one of the on-next-hits and take Invulnerability as a 2nd passive.

But wait, don't I need Particle Smash for the debuff? Orbital Laser applies Plasma Burn, so following up with Particle Smash would apply Disintegrate, which lowers particle damage resistance, right?

You could do that, or just use taps of Chest Beam for a Particle debuff, which is more straightforward (PSmash is also a melee attack w/ shorter range). It's up to you, though, as there's many diff options to add on to the core powers. You obv can't put everything into one build, so you'll just have to decide on what powers you'd want to prioritize over others.

Also- although cds are nice for MSA, don't feel like you need to cram a bunch in there; even just having one short cd power is fine as long as you remember to use it. I liked TStrike in the original build cause it's cheap to tap, has a pretty short cd, and has some nice advs (in this case you could get the Root and self-heal advs on it, assuming you're keeping Trapped).
