Hi All

Alright, So now that I have completed my Bullet-Dancer build, I'm wanting to go back to touching up old builds, This build will be replacing the old "STEM" Build that I did quite a while back and completely changing it. This build hopefully aims to be on the DPS side, but with a fair share of protection.

This new build is themed around Cyberkinesis or more commonly kown as "Technopathy". Controlling Technology with the mind, unlike my Ice builds from Destiny 2, this build is inspired by Borderlands, one of the Sirens (Angel). So the build will be heavily focused on the Telekinesis Tree (Not the Ego Blades) With hopefully an small mix of Force/Gadgeteering & "Perhaps" Ice & Lighting. (The "Perhaps" part is only if it can fit).

Up to the Support drones, I am not sure what other powers to put in, I can replace my Passive with something that helps with DPS and replace the PFF with Inertial Dampening Field (for a layer of protection).

Drones are for mostly to add to the Gad Powers and thinking perhaps Lighting Ball and Ice Burst to add on top. But I am not quite sure what to go for

    I'd pass on using IDF, since it doesn't scale well, and it's not really a replacement for PFF, since PFF is a slotted passive. If you wanted a Hybrid-dps approach, I may just use R3 Invuln over PFF, though, or you could go for more of a dps focus w/ the ranged dps role and something like Ego Form. You'll also want Mental Precision as the toggle/form, since Mental Disc is more for TK Blades, and to use TK Reverb as the EU. TK Lance is also important to have here as the main source of single-target dmg. Con SS could also help make the build sturdier w/o needing a defensive passive, as can using Guardicator specs.

    I didn't add any Ice or Fire powers cause they aren't boosted by Ego Form. Elec's TStrike isn't either, but you're just taping it for another heal here, not really for the dmg. Alternates between TK Strike and TK Lance for single-target dps, and uses TK Burst (and TK Maelstrom) for AoE. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Rec.

    Devices

    I've placed in Aura of Primal Majesty and placed myself in Hybrid so I can boost all my SS and to add a little % to my teammates as well, so hopefully the DPS won't be sacrificed as much, as AoPM will help boost my Tanking as well and this way other powers I place will not suffer in terms of their damage.

    I chuold go for AoED but that will only effect my damage overall and I do not kown if it will assit in other SS and non-SS, but I am unsure how much more Damage % I will get out of the two AoPM Vs AoED.

    Last powers I am not really sure yet, I am still experimenting with this build as this is a hard concept to pull off right, However if you can provide me another Single DPS Attack (minus Lance) that be great.

    AoED will be worth more dps than AoPM overall, though in Hybrid role your ally aura will be quite weak anyways, and esp w/o much Pres powering it. I generally wouldn't go for the Hybrid aura route in PvE unless you were just doing easier_solo content where the aura's strength for allies hardly matters. You'll still do more personal dmg w/ a normal dps passive in the ranged dps role, and Ego Form does boost your overall defenses by a small amount anyways (w/ that and Con SS + Guardicator + self-heals, you'll have a pretty sturdy backbone for a committed dps unit here, and some open power slots to expand that with, if desired). I'd also add Resurgence back in.

    I would prob encourage you to keep TK Lance, as it's the easiest way to get strong single-target dps as ranged TK. You could do it w/ TK Assault instead, but those builds are a bit more involved and take more buildup, since TKA doesn't innately proc ELeech for the toggle/form or EU.

    Hurm alright, I'll stick w/ a normal dps passive in the ranged dps role, will likely stick with Ego Form. As for the Resurgence, no idea why it was not in the build.

    I have replaced TK-Shards with Lance in favor for the Single-DPS, put Resruge back in as suggested, swapped a few basic powers around like the EB and Block, as they do not matter. I've still got 3 powers left to choice from, as I am unsure if I will really need Convic, due to my Drones supporting me.

    However the HeroCreator has been updated to support the new powers that came out and I've been toying with the idea of useing Bad Sector (Another Heal and smipley fits the thame quite well) So once it is correctly updated I'll put them into the build, as for the rest of the powers I'm not entirety sure, to fit for the thame of a Techopath, but so far it looks like I've got the main core of the build finished (Better Passive/Range Role/AD/Single-DPS)

    Well, the rune is a static thing on the ground, so it's not going to be as convenient as something like Conviction is for healing, but you can still get it if you really want it (TK Shards could also give another self heal w/ the adv, if desired). The drones can also be okay for background healing, but you still have to deal w/ their independent AI, and they can pretty easily be destroyed if targeted or hit by AoE, so I wouldn't necc take them as a replacement for a self-heal. It's up to you what extra powers you want to add or scrap, though, as you do have a pretty solid core there.

    I've put back in TK Shards due to I was useing Particle Smash but the range was melee focused, not sure what I should be doing with the last power, still trying to find a good Tech power to keep the thame up, but not too sure what to go for.

    So here is the final build, I play-tested quite a few meny other types of powers I can choice from and while sticking with TK Shards, I've deiced to just go with Energy Storm, has quite a short cooldown and even on Rank 0 it deals quite high amount of damage.

    So that's that then, another build completed.

    I'm not sure about the specs yet, but I've gone mostly purely DPS this time around, they can be changed if need be tho. The same type of thame still applys with it being Techno Psi based. (Or in this case Biotics/Tech from Mass Effect).

    Tk is the main focus of the build, with added Technological utility powers. Added in Mind Drain as I did not have the power unlocked before hand, when I first made the build.

    I'm not sure if I can replace Burst with Barrage (As they roughly do the same thing) tho that's something I may do. Lance for my main DPS Single Target, Resurgence for my AD and bad Sector for the extra tanking while inside it (I tended to use this alot, before the adv, but only used it for damage, but it's more useful for the shield).

    Telekinetic Barrage with the Stun, as I wanted to spice up the build a bit, I'm not sure if its necessary to add TK Assault as it's the excat same power as Barrage, just single target.

    With 2 Powers being open, not sure what the rest might be. And no, I am not putting in Mind Control on this build.

    I'm kinda iffy on taking Mind Drain here, esp if you aren't pairing it w/ its AoE adv and Dependency for ally healing; maybe just take Conviction instead? TK Barrage is also a bit redundant w/ TK Burst, so I'd prob just pick one or the other as your main AoE attack. TK Maelstrom would prob be good to add back in, either way. I'd also add back in the Stress adv for TK Strike (unless you were using something like MStorm w/ adv for Stress, but that's also limited to 50ft). If you decide to take TK Barrage instead of TK Burst, you could also put TK Shards back in, for an AoE KD w/ another self-heal adv. Ego Surge (w/ NM adv) and Mental Impact are also decent picks for TK dps (and yea, you don't really need TK Assault here).

    The SS setup is also a little weird atm. I may just go back to DEX/Rec/Con (if you still want Con SS). EGO/Dex/Con_Rec is also fine (though still w/ a Dex focus and 3/3 in Sixth Sense). I'd prob also go back to Guardian spec (with 3/3 in Find the Mark), instead of using Overseer spec. Here's an example edit of it:

I'd prob also go back to Guardian spec (with 3/3 in Find the Mark), instead of using Overseer spec. Here's an example edit of it:

    Cheers then, yeah I was unsure of the Specs, so I'll roll back with the suggested ones you gave me, tho I may stick with Ego, but I chuold go for Dex/Ego/Rec (or whatever is best). Die to the focus on DPS.

    I'll go for TK Barrage then as I did want to spice up the build a bit, so with that being the case I'll go for TK Shards as well, to keep the combo going.

    I can go for the Mind Drain w/advs as you suggested and pick a power for Dependency, that sounds a bit more exciting then spamming Conviction.

    Ego Surge (Wow I not used that in a while) and I may go for MI as well for the Ult, but I'll have to see how all works out.

    So this is what I have thus so far:

    I've gone with the Mind Drain & pairing it w/ its AoE adv and Dependency for ally healing, as you suggested, I've stuck with TK Barrage and kept in Bad Sector for the Thame. TK Shards too with the AoE KD w/ another self-heal adv.

    TK Lance as main source of DPS (or alteast for stronger mobs). 2 Powers left still not too sure about, thinking to add Malestrom, but I think TK Barrage and the combo spam of TK Strike should be enough to stack Ego Leech.


    I may go for a Ult or something else useful, but due to my focus in DPS, I may end up just going for the Hand Slap Power.

    Yea, that edit looks fine. Any of the powers we went over before (TK Maelstrom, Ego Surge w/ NM, the Ult), should do fine for dps. You could maybe get a threat and/or self-res too, but it's ultimately up to you.

    Yep, I'll likely grab the Ult and perhaps a Self-Res, as they are always useful.
