Hi All

Now that my two Cyro-Hybrids builds are done, I'm looking to touch up a outdated gunslinger build to be more themed around useing pistols and melee weapons, this build will be focusing only only useing firearms in melee range, as well as single blade attacks (or Dual) not decided yet, with a heavy focus on DPS (if possible).

Here is the build so far: For the "Combo" power I have gone for Bullet Ballet as for my main attack (EB then Bullet Ballet). I';ve gone for a single high DPS attack, with some AoE added into the mix (I may likely switch to Dual blades here). However due to the thame around my OC being an L.T Officer, I am wondering if I can build around supporting my teammates (only a little) in terms of Aura of Primal Majesty, but if it gimps the build too much, I will not go for it.

I'd also try to find a way to add a small support power (Maybe a team heal of some kind) to add the thame of her being a Officer to her team, agian, if it gimps the build too much, then it is fine.

But main focus of the build is the use of Blades and Bullet Ballet style attacks.

Edit: Forgot to add Tal/Specs and SS

Okay, well I would use FotTempest as the form/toggle here, since it can work w/ all attacks. The build isn't really bleed-based atm, so I also would prob pass on Reaper's Embrace, and maybe just get something like a Dragon attack w/ Rush on it instead. I would also prob add Burst Shot for the AP debuff and for Furious, and pair that w/ Bullet Ballet's special adv. I'd also max Deadly Aim in Dex PSS. Crimson Bloom (or EotS, it's Dual Blade version) is fine to keep as a more defensive pbAoE that you can use. Here's an example edit:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.43:35

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
    Level 6: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 9: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 12: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
    Level 15: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Gunslinger
Level 1: Burst Shot (Taking Names)
    Level 6: Killer Instinct
Level 8: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Form of the Tempest
Level 14: Crimson Bloom (Rank 2, Wall of Blades)
    Level 17: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Bullet Ballet (Rank 2, Not Without Incident)
    Level 23: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 26: Dragon's Wrath (Tiger's Courage, Dragon Rush)
    Level 29: Cut Down
    Level 32: Deflect (Rank 2)
Level 35: Execution Shot (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 38: Lock N Load (Rank 2)
    Adv. Points: 33/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (2/3)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (2/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (2/3)
    Warden: Slaughter (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

I kept Exec Shot in for the concept, but it and/or LNL in the last slot can prob be traded out for something else, if you want. Unstoppable, Earth Form, or WotW could also work fine as the passive here. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Rec.

I've gone with a EB change to the dual blades to help keep up the melee focused only, kept in mostly everything you've given me, just swapped around the shield and lunge a little. I've got most of the nessrcay stuff like an Form/AO/AD/Heal and Innate passive, but for the last 2 powers I'm not completely sure what to grab.

As for Burst Shot, is there another power that applys Furious?, as I'm wondering if that is needed, as I only have one means of applying it (with what I can see that is). So I'm wondering if I can keep it for the extra boost or perhaps replace it for something like Holdout shot for a quick spam-heal.

Never mind I forgot to put Lock n Load into it. it is in the build but won't reflect in the link itself.

P.S: If you wonder why, The changes to the Lunge & Shield was more for funzies, as I'm thinking to roll with a Blade & Gun Build with tiny supernatural ability from Dishonored (Powers like Blink) and Backlash from Prey.

Yeah, changing the end builder, block enhancer, and lunge won't matter too much overall for the build, so do w/e ya want there. Changing Crimson Bloom for EotS is mostly just a re-skin here, since it's not a bleed-based build anyways. For the extra power slot: Holdout Shot is okay for the extra heal adv, or you could stick w/ Exec Shot, or maybe get a self-res, or a threat wipe, etc.

Might get myself a Threat Wipe for safety, like the other builds, I was thinking on putting in Howl for an quick re-fresh of Furious, but Burst Shot does that better.

However small qeastion about Lock N Load, there is an Adv that helps the cooldown upon a melee hit (I assume 2 per hit) while that sounds very useful for a build like this, I am a bit worried about the bonus damage removal, is that just a flat bonus or does that remove the melee damage completely?

If it's just a small Bonus, then I can gladly keep the Adv, as I will want LocknLoad up as much as I can

Here is the final build, did struggle with a good Threat Wipe, but think Laugh-Zep will do nicely, I may replace it with Vapor Form due to the Heal and the much more faster getaway, but I'll see for that.

How about this for the last 2 power slots? Swap out Dragon Rush for R2 in DW. Lunge in, stun em, then go to work with pistols and swords. They will be dead before even you know it ;) AOs are somewhat useful, but the CD is annoying.

Yea, most AOs can be dropped from dps builds w/o that much of a hit to performance in PvE. Even if keeping LNL, I may not get its special adv now that its old flat crit bonus has been replaced w/ Furious. If anything, getting it to R3 for the 3x Furious stack that Bullet Ballet can roll is pretty nice.

You mentioned a party help power... you could perhaps choose Palliate w/Absolve to get an occasinal party heal +threat wipe that does not scale with your +healing bonus.
