Just steal the patrol system from Star Trek Online. Sometimes I want to pop in and grind a bit in the middle of the night but the only people on are lvl40's showing off their costumes. You don't even have to change the name.

It's like an alert that can be done solo. They also launch instantly which is a nice bonus.
