"Unable to authenticate: Lost connection to Account Server" the third

As usual, when CO has a big event - that issue comes up again - player get thrown out of the game when they try to log to a different character - and then, after you are forced to restart the game (as it doesn't reconnect to the server at all), you get this "nice" message: Unable to authenticate: Lost connection to Account Server.
Sooo..dear Cryptic..how about finally fixing this repeating issue?

There was a hiccup with the account server, it'll be resolved shortly!

No surprises there that CO would have hiccups on every big event they release, but it's no big issue, I'm used to it at this point.

What error are you getting?

After maybe half a minute to two minutes of playing, it tells me that the server isn't responding (SERVER NOT RESPONDING (15.3)) and it sometimes responds, but more often than not, I get disconnected from the server.

I also occasionally get "Unable to connect to account server (3)" when trying to log in. This issue isn't as frequent and usually works on my second try though.
