Energy Pistols Build Help

I have a build Endgame DPS Elec and Pistols) that I'm working on, however I hit a wall, not sure where to go from here. Should I start over or rearrange some powers?

    It seems like you have quite a bit of power overlap there. If I were going to make a muni and lightning build, I think I would take 2 gun mojo with the "close the gap" advantage and sparkstorm with the toggle advantage. You would be a close-ranged character, but the damage and mobility would be good. Maybe throw ball lightning in there too.

    Yeah, it is a bit redundant to have a setup for LArc and a setup for TGM in the same build, as they are both single-target focused. You may want to decide on which range you'd prefer to play at. You can go w/ the typical long-ranged Elec style, but then you won't be able to use the pistol Muni stuff unless you get w/in 50ft. You could take a normal Elec build, but then have something like Bullet Hail w/ the dmg shield adv for a close-range defensive AoE. Or maybe take a normal pistol Muni w/ TGM and Frag Grenade, but throw in some Elec powers like TStrike w/ Recharge adv, Elec Shield, and/or Ball Lit. The approach that Vonqball mentioned is good too, though you'd have to get used to playing very close-range and keeping up the Sparkstorm toggle.

    Your current build also lacks a slotted passive, which is a pretty big omission. Night Warrior would prob be the best dps passive for mixing Elec w/ Muni here, regardless.

    Yeah this seems to be a Night Warrior build.. and if you're close enough to shadowstrike, then you might as well stay close to pew pew! Maybe? That was my thinking for a close-ranged setup anyway.

    You could always just keep lit arc for a more relaxed 100' playstyle when the situation warrants... like Therakiel.

    Yeah, adding in Shadowstrike w/ a threat wipe (for the stealth) can also be fine if using NW and the close-up playstyle. An omni-range build that prefers to be close-up, but can also zap from afar sounds pretty good, if the player wants that extra flexibility. Would prob use Ionic Reverb and Ball Lit (w/ Tripl adv) in that case, since it + Sparkstorm toggle will still work w/ TGM when close-up, and obv work well w/ LArc at long-range.

    Maybe something along these lines? Take some Growth mods for more hit points to make up for the lack of con. I find that running 2GM and Sparkstorm is pretty energy intensive, hence Ego spec tree to get Insight and Neuroelectric Pulse (can always drop r2 if you want more in your travel powers). Gigabolt is just there as an opening long range thematic alpha strike.

    You could also try End as the PSS and take Readiness, Gear Util, Outburst, Hardened and End Mastery, but then you would need Power Source and Ionic Reverb and T Strike instead of Gigabolt. If energy is not so much an issue, maybe sub in something to provide some CC.

    Don't forget that a good aura can make you feel more electric than you real are! ;)

    And here's a multi-range build, as an alternative approach. It can choose to play either close up w/ TGM + Ball Lit + Sparkstorm toggle, or play at long-range w/ LArc + Chain Lit + Ball Lit (if you don't want to take the risk of playing close-up):

    The last two power slots can be w/e ya want.

    For long-range, it initially puts up NI and Superconductor w/ Ball Lit and Chain Lit, while using LArc as the main single-target attack (and Ball Lit on cd, which will refersh both debuffs). Ball Lit + charged Chain Lit can be used for long-ranged AoE as well. For up-close combat, you keep Ball Lit and the Sparkstorm toggle up, while filling time w/ TGM. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some Con and Rec/End.
