Did they change the Powersword animations, and did they explain why?

I logged back in one day to use my powersword character, and it looks like all the animations and sound effects have been changed.

    Yes, they Adjusted the laser sword's sound effectS, No explanation for this
    As for the animation change, Plasma Cutter was apparently using the wrong animation all those years and it was a "BUG"...

    The Dragon's Bite/Ego Blade Breach looks horrible for Plasma Cutter, Skewer was better
