Bestial/Telepathy DPS

So continuing my trend of "let me staple these powersets together and see if it works", I'm back with this thing. I was at a bit of loss coming up with a coherent build for the escaped VIPER experiment character I made last night for some reason, so I'm thinking about grabbing some of the support/healing powers from Telepathy and Shred + Massacre from Bestial. I'm a little worried about Ego Storm eating too much power on a build with no Rec/End SS but I don't know what I'd replace it with. Summon Nightmare, maybe?

It's kind of a mess. Any help would be appreciated! :grin:

    You can accommodate Rec or End SS by going w/ an SS setup like DEX/Con/Rec_End (prob prefer Rec, since it scales up Relentless more). Here's an edit of it- trying to keep most of the powers the same (though I may sub Ego Storm w/ Mental Storm; Summon Nightmares is also an okay choice):

    AoE can be done w/ a mix of Shred, MLeech, MStorm (or Ego Storm, if you want to keep it), and the Ult. For single-target dps, you can apply/refresh Bleeds and Shredded w/ Shred, while Massacre is your main attack. If energy is an issue, you could consider adding in Dragon's Claws somewhere for the Rush adv. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Rec.

    Nice. I was afraid this wasn't going to work well at all, but at least the powers were (mostly) okay. Though wasn't Upper Hand in Warden bugged and not working right? I seem to remember something like that from a few years ago. Anyway, I'll play around with it and see whether I like MStorm or SN more.

    Nah, Upper Hand before was boosting crit rate instead of the advertised dmg boost- so it worked, but not as intended. After its revamp (to re-do what debuffs qualified for it), it's been fixed to work as intended (at least, afaik). You could put points into Fortified Gear instead, if you want to trade melee dmg for some defense. Regardless, have fun out there 8)
