Am I all over the place with this build?

peripeteiaperipeteia Posts: 39 Arc User
Hello,

This is my very first post for advice on my build. I think that there maybe something I am missing in know how (DPS) and wondered if something is off.

I get to diminishing returns and see less bang for buck and move onto other tertiary stats like Recovery. My recovery is where it is so I get my ultimate off, without working hard to some extreme and then hoping I can perform the ultimate in time. I also get more survivability from unbreakable shield than dodging anything and so moved away from dodging.

Dex =200
Con =279
Str = 165
Rec = 105 (For the ultimate - bladed fury)

This is my build its a dinosaur with stealth machine.

    Well, laser knight is a damage debuff and thus not recommended, resurgence will be better than unbreakable on most builds, and your area effect doesn't stack your form, but mostly the issue is gearing; due to the way forms scale, you'll be much better off with 600+ Dex and minimal investment in everything else.

    Dex-based MA builds should have it relatively easy energy-wise, as long as you really stack up Dex. In end game gear its quite possible to have 600+ Dex, as Panta says. The reason is that both your Form and Energy Unlock are based on Dex and both contribute to your energy and the Form also contribute to your damage (nice to double dip!) While leveling you might take Rec as one of your stats, then retcon once you have better gear. For Gear, try to get OSV secondaries and Justice Gear Primaries. Try and take Utility gear that gives you the best benefit for cost reduction. If by some strange chance you still have energy issues in end game gear, you could take out the lunge or Imbue and take Dragon Kick with the Rush adv (useful for the stun as well). You could also use some heals.

    Here is one way to do it:

    Jaaz corrected it in his build, but to add that you do want to max Expose Weakness in Dex PSS too. If you want higher resting energy, then you could talent for some Rec. With that, cost reduction rating, and decent gear you shouldn't have too many issues w/ the Ult (and taking a sec to end build for it isn't the end of the world, given its cd- that, or just keep Power Conversion, or use a Dragon attack w/ Rush; you have a few good options there). You can also use Dragon Kick or Scything Blade for MA pbAoE that works w/ FotTiger (Sword Cyclone w/ Butcher adv is a charged pbAoE too, though it's quite costly to use).

    You also took Brawler's Setup, so I guess your rotation is mainly to alternate between VFangs and DC? (though you kept VF at R1, which isn't good for that rotation) Flanking could be good to get in Brawler, regardless, if you have a tank holding mobs for you.

    Forgot to say that I added Ricochet Throw because it works really well from the stealth you have from NW. Makes a good opening move.
