Hej!
Down below you'll find the current build I'm using for my character 27th. Although it has a pretty good survivability, I'd like to improve on it somehow. I'd like to keep powers like Bullet Hail and Crimson Bloom the way they are, but I'm not quite sure about the Energy Unlock or usefulness of Breakaway Shot. Also, I can't seem to figure out a way to use Showdown as an Ultimate (instead of Vorpal Blade) with this build, since its Energy is far too low. Is there a way for a higher Equilibrium while continuing to use Aurum Accelerator gear?

Comments
- I wouldn't generally bother w/ Accel Metab advs. They are usually pretty weak due to the long, shared icd on the proc.
- LR for a non-Tank build means your main form of mitigation is rng-based. I'd prob either get Invuln or Regen if you want the Hybrid-dps approach, or go more into dps w/ something like WotW or NW, and the mleee dps role.
- I'd prob pass on the Elusive adv on Deflect, as it's lowering your melee dmg even further (you already have BCR and it's dmg penalty to contend with). Just getting R2-3 is fine for the block enhancer.
- Unless you really want it for theme, I'd prob also pass on Breakaway Shot, due to the longer anim and forced reverse lunge.
- The dodge/avoid options in Dex PSS are kinda weak, and prevent you from getting the better parts of Dex PSS (Deadly Aim and Expose Weakness).
If you want to make Showdown work more easily in the build, then you could consider getting Relentless as the EU, SS'ing Rec, and maybe using FotTempest. Then at least the Ult could proc the form and EU if you get crits w/ it (and provided there's a Wound effect on the targets), and you'd have higher resting energy w/ Rec SS to boot. I'd prob get something like Dragon's Bite so you have Rush, though, as the extra energy can help smooth out the rng factor of using FotT with the normal DB attacks.
Here's an edit of it, going for R3 Invuln and the Hybrid route. It should still be pretty sturdy, but also fare better at dealing dmg:

I kept Bullet Hail and Crimson Bloom, as requested; the former can be a basic ranged AoE, while the latter can be a close-up pbAoE and/or defensive tool. The main single-target rotation is to build up bleeds w/ Reaper's Caress, and then Rupture them w/ Reaper's Embrace. DBite can also be charged to proc Rush for extra energy, should you need it. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Rec (and some cost discount on gear).

A few notes :
- Find the Mark : even if you shoot at melee range with Bullet Hail is still counted as a ranged power and should proc the debuff.
- Reaper's Embrace w/No Mercy : I picked powers that apply bleed, open wound and Cull the Weak for a max ruptured damage.
- Dragon's Bite w/Dragon Rush : it should help with your energy issue.
- Crimson's Bloom : I believe it would be better to go with more damages and a stronger shield on this power so R2.
- between Trip Wire w/Stim Pack, Conviction R3 and BCR, you should be able to stay alive.
