Support Brigade Day 2020

With Smackwell's duplicating superhero concept turning 10 years old this year, and April just over a week away, I though it might be fun to bring this little community gathering back at least once. So, here's what I'm thinking...

Wednesday, April 1st, 2020
12 noon Pacific Daylight Time (server)
Renaissance Center Plaza

It'd be a great opportunity for players who want to make their own Brigades (or those who want to dress up as one), to get together and hang out, maybe do some alerts or Onslaught beatdowns. (OK, I don't actually have a solid plan but if people want to suggest something, I welcome advice!)

    This is indeed still happening tomorrow! I'll probably start hanging around a little earlier than the planned start time of whatever is going to happen :D

    Hope to see the Brigade friends and fans there! (Who needs Foxbat?)

    Had a bit of a short go at it but we had a successful Support Brigade Day! Even had a couple of fans tag along.

    Damn, I really wanted to join in with the Brigadeness of it all but I've been busy moving the last few days.

    All of the Brigades together definitely look cool. Do we have to wait until next April to do have another go at it?

    Ultimately, I'm hoping that this years Brigade Day was the first step in getting some momentum going for the concept again: indeed, we did have a couple new dupes join us while we were going on Wednesday! I can't speak for them but I know I'm horribly lazy at grinding the XP, so some team-ups in the near future would be grand!

    Not to mention, perhaps staking out a place in RC on random nights and being in character (whether people are dedicated RPers or not) might be a good way to get some visibility!

    I feel like I have horrible luck with co-ordinating "events", though, so while I can't guarantee we'll have something on the scale of SBD before next year, I tend to hanging around the game in some capacity. Feel free to send me a mail in game if you get around to it!

    I've been doing the Foxbat event, Cosmics, and some TA attempts with my Brigade. Mainly because he's pretty fun to play with. Laser sword + some Electric.​​
