It's been over a month, but instead of a simple bump, I'll ask a question:
Is the Brilliance advantage actually functioning as intended and the description just isn't updated?
I really hope that's not the case. Having more ally-buffing variety would be great. Buffing others with Detect would be like a perception-enhancing support spell.
Wait, are you saying the bug is that it applies to the caster? The caster themselves also counts as a friendly target, so it applying to the caster isn't necessarily an indication that it isn't applying to allies.
Specifically, Brilliance is supposed to apply the Detect buff to friendly targets in an 20-foot-sphere area around the primary target. The bug is that it's not applying to friendly targets at all. Instead, no matter who is targeted, even if they're the full 50 feet away, it only applies Detect to the caster.
Also, it shows a visible buff when it's working on someone.
