I wanted to see if anyone has information on VIPER’s Serpentine Network. Thanks!

    Most VIPER agents refer to the agency's entire computing and communications system as the Serpentine Network, but the name "Serpentine" properly belongs to the powerful Artificial Intelligence located at VIPER's world headquarters. Individual Nests, and some major vehicles, are equipped with sub-processor units designated "Serpentine Nodes." Although sophisticated they aren't artificially intelligent. Serpentine coordinates with its Nodes via the VIPERSAT series of "stealth" communication satellites. VIPER has gone to extreme lengths to maintain the security of Serpentine, including subroutines to detect and counter attempts to hack it; automatic self-destruction of any Node captured or damaged, and even Serpentine itself; and multiple data backups hidden around the globe.

    Serpentine is programmed with absolute loyalty to VIPER, but that's to the agency as a whole, not any particular person in it. It secretly taps into VIPER communication and sensory systems to spy on all the Nests and report back to the Supreme Serpent.
