Kryzmas Build

That's right, we have another month to go, for those that celebrate Christmas. Anyways i'm looking for an arcane sorcery build. I would prefer to be more support based this time. Thanks ahead of time.

Sorc Support? Alright, here's one example:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Support)
    v3.41:33

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Presence (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Witch (Con: 10, Int: 8, Pre: 10, Rec: 10)
    Level 6: Diplomatic (Int: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 9: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
Level 12: Shrug It Off (Con: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 15: Lasting Impression (Pre: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 21: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Eldritch Bolts
Level 1: Aura of Primal Majesty (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 6: Compassion
Level 8: Star Barrage (Rank 2, Light Everlasting)
    Level 11: Conjuring
    Level 14: Will-o'-the-Wisp (Guide, Cursed)
Level 17: Arcane Vitality (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Conviction (Rank 2, Reverence)
Level 23: Soul Beam (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 26: Iniquity (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: Eldritch Shield (Rank 2)
Level 32: Divine Renewal (Rank 2)
    Level 35: Indestructible (Rank 2)
    Level 38: Rebirth
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Presence: Repurpose (3/3)
    Presence: Selfless Ally (2/2)
    Presence: Moment of Glory (3/3)
    Presence: Force of Will (2/2)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (3/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Moment of Need (3/3)
    Sentinel: Genesis (1/2)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Elusive (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Presence Mastery (1/1)

(can train in Eld Blast early on, and re-train out of it later)

Keeps the Wisp up for buffs and debuffs (and for Conjuring), w/ Star Barrage as the main AoE attack and Soul Beam a the main single-target attack. For support, you have Arcane Vit as a normal AoE heal, Iniquity for long-range healing and single-target burst healing, self & ally reses, and a support aura passive (here, AoPM- though there are other options, ofc). Gears mostly for Pres, w/ some Con and Int.

I bought another Retcon for Kryzmas. I'm gonna go for more of a Toy maker build, which means Gadgeteering with Pets, would be cool if I could have reindeer and a sleigh.

There are a couple sleigh vehicles.

    ok thank you.

alright I was gonna use scourge for the innate, but I want to use gauntlet chainsaw, which also means that concentration isn't going to work for the build. Plus I need intelligence and recovery for Molecular self-assembly. Flow i'm not sure if you're looking at this post, or if I need to start a new one.

Atm, I'm a bit confused as to what you actually want w/ this build. I guess it's a Chainsaw build w/ some other Gadgeteering now? That's okay, but do you want it to be a melee dps build, then? Chainsaw builds are a bit tricky to work with, regardless, because the cost of that attack is very high (and keep in mind that any permanent pets are going to increase its already high cost). You also could go for a hybrid-dps approach that uses something like AoPM, I suppose, but then you don't want to bring it to any high-end content (at least, not w/o having a 2nd passive to switch to then).

ok, forget chainsaw. I would prefer a ranged/pet build. I would also like more of a solo build.
  • flowcytoflowcyto Posts: 12,740 Arc User
AoPM in Hybrid role is still fine for solo stuff, esp if you want easier energy management and to be somewhat versatile w/o swapping roles and/or passives. I'd prob suggest either that or AoED if you want more base dps. Here's an example build:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Hybrid)
    v3.42:34

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Intelligence (Primary)
    Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Glacier (Dex: 8, Con: 10, Int: 10, End: 10)
Level 6: Covert Ops Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Con: 3, Int: 3)
    Level 9: Investigator (Int: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
    Level 15: Coordinated (Dex: 5, Int: 5)
Level 18: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
    Level 21: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Sonic Blaster
Level 1: Pulse Beam Rifle (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 6: Concentration
Level 8: Aura of Primal Majesty (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Sonic Boom Generator (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Thunderstrike (Strike Down, Recharge)
Level 23: Attack Toys (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Support Drones (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 32: Munitions Bots
Level 35: Energy Shield (Rank 2)
Level 38: Mechanical Monstrosity (Rank 2)
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Intelligence: Preparation (2/2)
    Intelligence: Enlightened (3/3)
    Intelligence: Detect Vulnerability (3/3)
    Intelligence: Expertise (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Commander: Evasive Action (1/2)
    Commander: Rapid Response (2/2)
    Commander: Create An Opening (1/2)
    Commander: Multitasker (3/3)
    Commander: Durable (1/3)
    Commander: Savage (1/3)
    Mastery: Intelligence Mastery (1/1)

You can swap the Ult out for something else if you don't have it. Uses PBR for single-target dps, Sonic Boom Gen for AoE, and taps of TStrike to help proc/roll MSA (and give you some CC and extra self-healing). If a pet dies, you can always just quickly re-summon it. Other SS setups could work here too, though Int PSS (w/ Dex and Con SS) works pretty nicely w/ AoPM as well. Gears mostly for Int, w/ some Con and Dex.
