Staves and wands and other ideas for Halloween and beyond

The animations are there for them, with staff and wand devices, so you could reuse those animations, and have the staves and wands be like guns and weapons with may varies looks to unlock. Summoning circles, with floating candles, more mystical like symbols (dr strange like). Summon creatures of the elemental type, and genies, insect swarms, undead cats, wolfs, etc. Maybe a side kick like an undead knight with a large sword or a shield and sword, but that last one might not be doable. Hell a swarm of bats, rats, beetles, skeletons man come on we have that as players in game.

    too bad that most of the attack animations don't use them though. :/ There's a lot where it feels like a minor addition because you don't change what the player character is doing, you just add a wand in their hand. But only some, some would be hard.

    This is something theme nerds (like me) have wanted for a long time. Weapon emanation points for powers. If I was remaking this game that's how I would set it up from the get go. So much you could do with that kind of setup.

    To be honest. This feature is a good idea. But, should be also be added for the classes involving magic. Or
    even the healing class. Based in the character creation section and a selection of stave's/Wands one can then
    choose from.

  • There's already wand animations in the game. How hard is it to make a new power, even energy builder that uses one?
    Imagine, a barrage of blasts from a wand.
