Game lags when selecting a new target

Before today, the game was running fine, albeit a bit of lag here and there. But today, whenever I target a new enemy, the game lags and the FPS drops to almost two for a second or two. I turn off the UI and everything runs smoothly, which doesn't help because I can't tell who I'm targeting. I've also adjusted the game settings but to no avail.
I'm running a Core 2 Quad Q6700, 4gigs of RAM, and an Nvidia GTX 275.
This new problem has pretty much rendered the game unplayable for me. Any suggestions?

I've been having issue's on the game lag issue for a few day's now. As like you. I too have been able to play
Champion's Online. With very lag. Or with game lag so horrible. Where I cannot walk/run/or use my skills to
attack without dying. Like a few minutes ago. I died twice because of this game lag. Not easy trying to stay
alive right now..
And it's not the internet connection. Because it's really good on my end.
