Need help on a Magitek tank build, with Void Shift and Ebon Void, as for the rest of the powers i dont know, and the rest of the magic powers can come from any of the magic archetypes

I'm not too clear on what 'Magitek' refers too - if its a mix of the costume/character concept being tech enhanced but using Magic powers, or if ya actually want the build to be a mix of Technology and Sorcery powers. I ask cause I did have a toon that was 'magitek', but it was more of the former case (a cyborg that uses magical-amplifying gauntlets and gear). In terms of just the powers, he was a Sorcery dps toon.

Here's a version of his old build, if ur curious. Could be fitted to a tank build w/ a few tweaks:

I'm actually looking for a build, I'll post a build that I came up with later, to lay some groundwork

Edit:Gadgeteering was actually what I was going for), I just put this build together randomly so, this is an idea of what Im looking for, powers and superstats can be changed.

Here's a possible way to approach a similar build:

Figured TKA w/ CripC is a strong way to secure single-target threat. Kept some of the other attacks/powers in there for the theme, but gave it a bit more of a defensive backbone.
Many ways to go about this sort of build- if ya open the attacks up to be anything vaguely magical w/ some tech stuff.

Is there anyway to update this build, its outdated now with all the power changes. Im not sure where to go from here

Yea, that's quite an old build. Well, Sorcery now has Soul Beam, so you can use that instead of TKA for single-targets. That said, did you still want Void Shift? Cause it's kinda weird to have a melee lunge in a mostly ranged build. Gauntlet Chainsaw also won't really fit in well in terms of mechanics. Here's one example build that commits more to ranged, in order to be more functional:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Tank)
    v3.41:33

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Constitution (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Dexterity (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Specialist (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Int: 8, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Covert Ops Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Con: 3, Int: 3)
    Level 9: Coordinated (Dex: 5, Int: 5)
    Level 12: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 18: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
    Level 21: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Power Bolts
    Level 1: Concentration
    Level 6: Invulnerability (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 8: Shadow Embrace (Rank 2, Draining Shadows, Challenge!)
    Level 11: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 14: Will-o'-the-Wisp (Guide, Cursed)
    Level 17: Conjuring
Level 20: Soul Beam (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
    Level 23: Indestructible (Rank 2)
Level 26: Ebon Void (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 29: Pillar of Poz (Rank 2, Dizzying Impact)
    Level 32: Imbue
    Level 35:
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: 32/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Constitution: Unyielding (1/2)
    Constitution: Fuel My Fire (3/3)
    Constitution: Resilient (2/2)
    Constitution: Adrenaline Rush (2/2)
    Constitution: Armored (2/2)
    Protector: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Protector: Beacon of Hope (1/3)
    Protector: Unrelenting (1/2)
    Protector: Bulwark (2/2)
    Protector: Defensive Expertise (3/3)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (3/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (2/3)
    Mastery: Constitution Mastery (1/1)

(not an early leveling build, ofc)

Uses the Wisp to roll debuffs/buffs (and to keep Conjuring up), while using SEmbrace for AoE and Soul Beam for single-targets. The open power slots can be for w/e ya want. Gears mostly for Con, w/ some Int (and maybe a bit of Dex).
