Bat Wonder Retcon Build

ok so I want to mix unarmed / PA powers. I'm thinking that Bats some times calls down missiles so PA powers, and he's a master of martial arts, so unarmed. So what I want are Vicious Strikes and Thundering Kicks. I also want Night Warrior. After that, anything goes, as long as it says I am BatMan.

Due to lockout periods, I may use non-slotted PA, and esp if the focus is still on melee overall. Also, you have >1 toggle/form here, yet Concentration won't proc at all with melee attacks, and FotM only procs w/ Chi Energy effects. The choice of the energy builder shouldn't matter too much overall (though I may get ranged end builder if using a ranged attack or two), and you also didn't include any advantage choices. Here's one way to edit it:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.41:33

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
    Level 6: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 9: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 12: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
    Level 15: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
Level 18: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Boomerang Toss
Level 1: Thundering Kicks (Rank 2, Demolishing Strikes)
Level 6: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3, Silent Running)
Level 8: Form of the Tempest
    Level 11: Steadfast
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Smoke Bomb Lunge
Level 20: Dragon Kick (Rank 2, Dragon Rush)
Level 23: Burning Chi Fist (Rank 2, Shattering Strike, Ghostly Strikes)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Inexorable Tides (Flowing Strikes)
Level 32: Tactical Missiles (Rank 2, Blast Radius)
    Level 35: Parry (Rank 2)
    Level 38: Smoke Bomb
    Adv. Points: 33/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
    Dexterity: Power Swell (2/2)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

I gave you Smoke Bomb at the end mainly for the theme, but it can be used as a threat wipe and to re-enter stealth in combat. That last power slot can be w/e ya want here, though.

Tac Missiles can be used as a cheap, basic ranged attack- otherwise the build mostly focuses on melee as is. Charged Dragon Kick can be the main AoE attack (and applies Rush), and Inexorable Tides can also AoE and help CC w/ it's knockup (TKicks also has a cleave effect when up-close). For single-target dps, ideally you want to open w/ TKicks to apply Demolish, use charged DK for Rush, and then spam BCF as your main filler attack in-between refreshing Demolish (w/ Inex Tides) and Rush (w/ charged DK). Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Rec.

First off: I apologize to those that I drive crazy with all my posts, i'll try to take some time off from posting. Second: I just wanted to thank Flow for putting up with me. Third, here's the build i'm thinking of sticking with:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Any / Multiple)

i picked up binding shot, just because it looks like a power batman might use. I got rid of the PA powers, they just weren't working for me. I picked up Implosion Engine, it just looks cool.

P.S. Thanks again, and sorry to those I've offended.

You'll find that OC is probably mostly useful as an alpha strike or in group combat. IE has a pretty long cool down. To me nothing screams Batwhatever more than Boomerang toss or Throwing Blades.

It's alright. You need to at least try to allocate adv points and pick specs in your builds, though :p .. It can help you learn, at least.

But yea, I generally would agree that Ricochet Throw or Throwing Blades are good. Assuming you can ditch the PA stuff, then the thrown stuff goes nicely w/ Night Warrior (since they benefit from Sneak) and the concept. Anyways, that build still has a few issues, mainly I'd still use FotTempest since it can proc from any melee or ranged attack. Here's an edit I'd suggest:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.41:33

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
    Level 6: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 9: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 12: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
    Level 15: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
Level 18: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Boomerang Toss
Level 1: Thundering Kicks (Demolishing Strikes)
    Level 6: Steadfast
Level 8: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3, Silent Running)
Level 11: Form of the Tempest
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 17: Ricochet Throw (Rank 2, Microelectronic Controllers)
Level 20: Dragon Kick (Rank 2, Dragon Rush)
Level 23: Burning Chi Fist (Rank 2, Shattering Strike, Ghostly Strikes)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Inexorable Tides (Flowing Strikes)
    Level 32: Parry (Rank 2)
    Level 35: Smoke Bomb Lunge
    Level 38:

    Dexterity: Power Swell (2/2)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)

    Warden: The Best Defense (2/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

You could still try w/ the Orbital Cannon + Implosion Engine combo, though you already have a pretty strong AoE stealth opener w/ charged RThrow, and OC and IE are pretty costly to use for the build. You'll prob want some cost discount on gear, either way.

I deleted my comment because no matter how I tried to word it, it came out as rude. In the end it is none of my business. If you want to make a lot of characters to play then make a lot of characters if it makes you happy. If people had a problem with helping you then they would tell you themsleves. It was wrong of me to say anything. I apologize. You didn't offend anyone.

I actually owe you and flowcyto a huge thanks. It was because of one of your build requests and his response that I was able to use his build for my Storm-inspired character that had been sitting at level 20 something since 2009 and I finally just leveled her to 40. I just did not have fun playing her until I used Flow's build. So thanks.

*shrug * I've expressed frustration to him before, but I've talked to Lumina privately about his past request frequency and I think he understands a bit better now. Regardless, glad you liked the Storm build 8)
