  I wouldn't bring pet builds to Cosmics or other large events, but here's a dps-oriented pet build w/ AoED. It sues Sorcery as a base for your attacks, cause it's pretty easy to work around:

  For your attacks, use Wisp to debuff, and Skarn's for AoE and Soul beam for single-target dps. Can play in Hybrid or in Support. Gears mostly for Int, w/ some Con and Pres.
  
  You can take a number of diff pet powers here; I just gave you an example of 4 pet powers you could use for dps (excluding any devices you could add). If the pets die, then you can always just quickly re-summon them w/ Commander's Rapid Response.

  Vengeance can be used to AoE and also to proc Wither, Vuln, and Sentinel Mastery. Rebuke can be used as a long-range nuke and as a heal, while Arcane Vit gives you an AoE heal. Conviction and Summon Shadows can also proc MSA. Gears mostly for Pres, w/ some Con and Int.

  my recommendation is an aoe healer pet master using medical nanites. Max the healing strength and use 3 or 4 slots for summons, including toy soldiers since they spawn. Mine has had 9 units in the fight at a time and many foes can barely kill them. Of course they can't survive cosmics' aoe attacks so don't bother trying, but I have handled nearly everything else. Clearing the mega d intro can be hard but they are able to perform well.
