Sorcery dps?

I'm overall kind of not the best at making builds in this game, and I'm kind of interested in a sorcery esc dps that can handle cosmics and some late game content, Preferably using crashing incantation as that's basically the only power unlock I really have in general, and maybe star barrage/constitution secondary if possible~

    Here's a Sorc dps build that can play upto 100ft away:

    It's not an early leveling build, ofc. DEX/Int/Con (still w/ an Int focus) could also work fine for the SS setup here.

    The core of the build is very simple: use the Wisp to debuff, Star Barrage for AoE filler, and Soul Beam for single-target filler. The open power slot can be w/e ya want. Gears mostly for Int, w/ some Con and Dex.

    To slightly come back into this general thread, I'm very curious/anxious about how this would do against the ape cosmic (I cant remember his name x.x) as I don't exactly wish to wanna hit the hearts with will-o'-the-wisp, so technically is there any specific way to check that it wont happen in a sense, it may just me being dumb as its only a 10 foot cylinder. but I'm fairly new to cosmics as is so i dont exactly know

    Well, the other ways of applying Hexed involve AoE as well (Hex of Suffering and Skarn's Bane full maintains), and those powers are limited to 50ft. In a pinch, if you're worried that the Wisp's small AoE will break something, you could just opt to not use it till the window has passed. Other general option is using Eld Blast w/ Chant and Blinding Light advs to refresh both effects w/ a single-target attack- though that's a pretty niche use for a power slot when you already have the Wisp.

    Overall thanks for the quick reply, I think I may need to fully wait to get too 40 to give my entire view on this, but once again it may just be my brain playing tricks on me, thinking a 10 foot move would do something that neesh for a cosmic
