Nemesis Reward Bug

I got a nemesis reward box that didn't auto-unpack, and cannot be clicked to open it. I submitted a ticket at the time and got the typical form-letter telling me Suck On Lemon.

I just did another nemesis alert and got a second bugged box. I don't know if it's because I am holding a bad box, or if the character (Abraxas) is bugged.

    Do you have a stack of Stars greater than 20 in your inventory?​​

    Ah ha! That was the only character I had who had an unbroken stack of old stars

    That is the problem?

    If I move the stars to my bank or otherwise dump them I will be able to actually get the rewards I am supposed to get?

    I shouldn't ask, I guess, but why? Why does having, apparently, "too much" of one thing prevent me from getting working nemesis loot drops?

    A while back the Stars stack limit was changed to 20. You must have legal stack limits of the item to receive another of that item.

    Ah, got you.

    Why the change, though? I have stacks of several hundred stars saved up.

    A stack limit of 20 is a drastic reduction.

    Still, a shame I threw out all of those "broken" boxes.
