Sonic ranged tank with PFF help

Looking to try switching out some powers on my main Think Tank. Liking the idea of range tanking with PFF, but would like advice. I done some research in the forums, and would like pointers on this build. Using Dex PS to help with damage and reducing the damage taken by the PFF. Basically layering defense/ avoidance/ and bubble strength.

Eh, why PFF though? Anyways, here's a few general issues with the build, assuming its for casual content:

    - Sonic dmg limits what the build can do offensively. Namely, you won't have good single-target dps/threat options. Maybe stick in an easy single-target maintain in there like PBR.
    - Your dps/threat gen will be low anyways, cause you're using IDF, which also takes 4 more adv points from the build over a normal toggle and doesn't give you extra energy.
    - Its mostly redundant to have both Hyper Voice and Shockwave in one build. Just one of them is fine for wide AoE tagging (you can keep Particle Wave if you want the ability to clump up and debuff mobs, though).
    - Generally you shouldn't skip out on normal ranks, and some special advs aren't always worth it.
    - Dex PSS isn't great for tanking, and the dodge/avoid options aren't that good and preclude getting the strong options in Dex PSS (DA and EW).
    - BCR, while a decent self-heal, is best left for builds w/ higher dodge w/ the RR adv, and comes w/ a dmg penalty.

Here's an edit, keeping PFF if you really want it (obv I would normally recommend something like R1 Defiance or R3 Invuln, but its ultimately up to you):

    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Mastery: Constitution Mastery (1/1)

PBR is the main single-target attack, w/ Particle Wave and Hyper Voice for AoE. Sonic Device can add some dps and extra CC. Specs can use Protector (w/ its Mastery) instead, if you want more of a defensive focus. Warden w/ Elusive is also okay to keep, if you want. Last power can be w/e ya want. For casual content w/ PFF, you can prob gear mostly for Dex for Chilled Form and crit here, w/ some End and Con on the side.

Well that's a.. quite different build now. Also still has many problems with it. Regardless, Force isn't in the best shape as a set atm, and given the extreme cost of Force Cascade, I wouldn't make a tank build around it for most things.

Okay, I'll take a different approach here: what powers/attacks do you want to use the most? Its easier to start w/ the basics and build around them. Keep in mind that you generally want to have one AoE attack w/ decent coverage (so you can easily tag things as a tank) and one decent single-target attack (to secure boss aggro) at the core of your build.
