  Gadgeteering is still a bit of a messy, crowded set atm. One of the main annoyances is that it doesn't work as well w/ its own EU (MSA) compared to other sets, and it has to outsource to get Particle and/or Crushing debuffs. That said, you can still make decent dps builds from it via mixing PBR (or Exp Blaster w/ Death Ray) w/ something like Chest Beam taps for Burn Through. You could add some On-Next Hit powers if you want to stay in-set. One example, using the Chest Beam approach:

  Particle Wave in LS can also proc Unified Theory and clump mobs up for AoE, while Chest Beam taps can proc the EU for PBR and boost its single-target dps (though given PBR's low cost atm, you prob won't need the EU just for it). Last few powers can be changed for other things, if you want. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some Con and End.
  
  Ofc, the other main approach is to use MSA + Conc, INT/Dex/Con or DEX/Int/Con (Int focus), and just add all three On-Next Hit cds to cycle MSA that way. Orbital Canon could be thrown in too, if you like it.

  Flow overdrive works perfectly for pulse beam rifle dos builds. Not sure i would r3 chest beam since u justvtapping it to refresh debuff.
