I guess you'll want a build using a defensive passive like Invuln. If you wanted to be more knock resilient innately you could use Enrage and take some of LS's knock-related stuff, though this wont be quite as high dps. An example hybrid-dps build:
Can use Lightspeed Strike and Lightwave Slash as normal filler attacks, while throwing in some Lumi Slashes when energy is good for some extra dmg. All the defenses and heals should help for pvp too. Gears mostly for Str and Con, w/ some End/Rec for energy.
