Winter Event
For the next 4 weeks the Winter Event will be running!
Week 1 introduces presents all around the world that can drop fun items!
  • A lot of under the hood changes have been made to the winter event.
  • Added Teddy Chest, Teddy Gloves and Bunny Slippers costumes to the event store for week 1 of the Winter Event.
  • Added Teddy Head, Teddy Pants, Teddy Boots, Ice Cape, Owl Head, Sheer Mask, Puffy Pants and Neck Warmer costumes to the event store.These will become available in the store in later weeks of the event.
  • These new costumes also have a chance to drop from the Purple and Gold Holiday Crackers.
  • Added Formal Bow emote to the event store.
  • Added White Cat and Kitten action figures as a possible drop from the Polkadot Holiday Cracker.
  • Added Teddy Tail and Fur Hat to the Yellow Holiday Cracker.
  • Removed the old Grandfather Winter and Wintertide gear from the store. Replaced them with versions that give bonuses to your superstats.
  • Present locations have been re-randomized to address some that were floating in Millennium City.
  • Lowered present respawn cooldown.
  • Winter currency can now drop directly off of opening present boxes found around the world.
  • Holiday Stockings can no longer drop winter currency.
  • Increased the radius of the snow fx.
  • Winter perks have been added to their own section.
  • Added perks for donating to charity.
  • Made many of the winter perks visible instead of having to do something to make their requirements visible.
  • Star stores have been removed from generic vendors for the Winter Event. Stars can be bought from Charity vendors.
  • Many of last years blue quality costumes have been changed to yellow and added to the Yellow Holiday Cracker drops.
  • Updated the Winter Present device to be able to give Holiday Stockings and Yellow Holiday Crackers as rewards.
  • Lowered Millennium City's Zone Cap to 50 for the event.
  • Known issue: The action figure items are not giving players their missions correctly, this will be addressed Tuesday of next week.



Misc
  • Addressed an issue where many mods did not display their slot type.

    The new Grandfather Winter Gear for superstats is great, but could we get the Fixer to update the old ones to the new version (like with Blood Moon devices)? And will the old version be compatible for the new version for purposes of set bonuses?

    There is indeed an open robe.
    You can add the rope belt to the closed robe, too, I think, with pretty good success.

    Because if some players want to be filthy casuals, they should at least have the opportunity to look the part?

    I think I can do a restorative face mask with existing make up, but yeah hair in curlers would be nice as well, but I'd be happy with a bath robe. The open robes we got don't really work and the closed robes are sort of missing a bottom.

    Because being a hero doesn't mean you have to always put in the effort, if Masquerade is getting called down to the city center to stop a giant tentacle bear she's not going to take the time out of her day to get dressed up for the occasion.

    So, I just got the Bunny Slipper. Didn't realize it was ONLY for Foot Accessories. Why not make it available to the Feet category?

    Devs wasting their time creating such rubbish costume pieces like bunny slippers. When there are million other weapons and armor designs I'm looking forward to. I'm trying to create serious character as well. Bunny slippers. I'm not wasting my time grind for this stuff. Its erp chat. Give me weapons for the love of god.

    That what happens in years 1 to 4, after that it's all not so serious characters.....

    What the heck is "serious," anyway? Deadpool has swords and guns.

    I don't even enter a game with any level of "seriousness."
