Haven't been able to enter the game, and others have reported the same problem.

    Yep, got some ignorant yahoo on Facebook trying to blame it all on Arc, and popping off with the foulest language one can imagine coming from a preteen whenever someone points out his factual errors.

    (I launch the program directly. The login server is down.)

    same here. says the server is up, and my acct logs in, but it times out going from character selection to game

    Been banging away at it awhile. Can log in fin, albeit slowly, unless the character changes maps then that character becomes inaccessible. Gameserver disconnect is the text of the error. Characters which are on an actual map seem to be able to move around and behave normally but that's pretty limited gameplay with no alerts and no zone changing and no mission maps, only open world content.
