Hello , i have bought in this blackfriday a new 144hz monitor with a RX 570 Sapphire Radeon 8GB Graphic card.
It seems like this game cant run on 144hz , only on 60hz, ive tried on windowed mode and fullscreen, it doesnt go above 60hz on the settings.
i have updated all drivers on my computer generally, including BIOS and Graphic Card!
And this is the message the game shows me:
https://prnt.sc/lmg23m
"Your Computer Appears to be using older drivers to your video card. This application may run poorly or not at all without updated drivers. Please Update your drivers by visiting www.ATI.com. in some cases, such as laptops. you may need to get the latest drivers from your computer manucaturer's site."
This is ridicilus. Since the Graphic card RX 570 8GB equals to Geforce GTX 1050 Ti with max GB.
ive google and seen that many players in Star Trek online complain about AMD graphic drivers with co and sto games.
Please help me out!
is this solvable? or do i need to go back to the pc company and yell the **** out of them that i want my money back and buy nvidia cards?
any help and suggestions will be usefull!
so this thread is refering trouble shooting on 2 topics:
1) 144hz not work in co.
2) RX 570 drivers not work in co.
Direct X Topic:
People say if we run this game via advanced video settings toubleshooting on direct x 9 the game wont crash.
however, RX 570 graphic card, supports Direct x 12.
Does is has anything to do with the fact, that Co dont support direct x 12?
i can run co only via direct x 9 or 11 beta.

Doesn't matter what the card supports, if the game doesn't.
And i think you got only 4GBs on that card. Not 8.
And playing by myself since Aug 2009

P.S. i am playing on a 240hz screen, no issues here.
Wrong. I used to play at 75hz, then switched to 240hz. It shows what your screen can handle...
i dont think, that is a lie, if you can proove me wrong, go ahead.
yes and as i said in the post, when i am choosing the refresh rate, it always resets back to 60hz.
