Help wanted :D Support mage

So, the Bloodmoon event made me want to create an urban mage/occult detective kind of character.

I figure a suppport build fits the theme better, and since I don't have a support char yet, it's the perfect opportunity : 3

And I don't have a clue what works best in a support role in CO, so here I am : p

This is what I made so far: Build is here

I put some heals, roots and debuffs, but I guess that won't cut it.
I don't aim to do very high end content (never was really comfortable in the support role. Unless I'm playing a bard, for whatever reason xD), but I would like to be useful in groups.

All advice and comments are welcome : D

Here's some tweaking to it, trying to keep it mostly w/in Sorcery:

    Support
    v3.11:30

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Presence (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Witch (Con: 10, Int: 8, Pre: 10, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Shrug It Off (Con: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 9: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
    Level 12: Diplomatic (Int: 5, Pre: 5)
Level 15: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
    Level 18: Prodigy (Pre: 5, End: 5)
    Level 21: Investigator (Int: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Eldritch Bolts
    Level 1: Rebuke (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Aura of Radiant Protection (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 8: Compassion
Level 11: Star Barrage (Rank 2, Light Everlasting)
Level 14: Pillar of Poz (Dizzying Impact)
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Vala's Light (Rank 2, Light Everlasting)
Level 23: Hex of Suffering (Rune of Lethargy, Rune of Dismay)
Level 26: Soul Beam (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 29: Grasping Shadows (Consumption)
Level 32: Eldritch Shield (Rank 2)
Level 35: Redemption (Rank 2, Salvation)
    Level 38: Rebirth
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6: Magic Carpet
    Level 35: Teleportation

    Specializations
    Presence: Repurpose (3/3)
    Presence: Selfless Ally (2/2)
    Presence: Moment of Glory (3/3)
    Presence: Force of Will (2/2)
    Sentinel: Torment (2/2)
    Sentinel: Caregiver (3/3)
    Sentinel: Sentinel Aura (3/3)
    Sentinel: Wither (2/2)
    Overseer: Administer (2/3)
    Overseer: Ruthless (2/2)
    Overseer: Impact (2/2)
    Overseer: Trapped (3/3)
    Overseer: Conservation (1/2)
    Mastery: Sentinel Mastery (1/1)

Hex and Grasping Shadows can proc CC-related stuff. Rebuke can be your main filler heal, while Vala's gives you some extra burst AoE healing, and Pillar can also heal allies in its circle a bit. Has a basic Sorc attack repertoire in Hex for debuffing, Soul Barrage (or Skarn's Bane) for AoE, and Soul Beam for single-target. Gears mostly for Pres, w/ some Int and Con.

I knew I could count on you, I like this, thanks!

I may replace something with a sigil, I like how they look : p

Wich aura would help a group more, Primal Majesty or Radiant Protection? I'm kinda on the fence right now.

AoPM and AoRP are both very good auras- just depends what you want to prioritize, as AoRP is defense-oriented and AoPM is more offense-oriented.

If you are on the fence about auras take it as you last power after you have completely chosen all your powers/travel powers/advantages. Save one power and four advantage points so you can be free to swap out whenever you like. That way if you get bored with one you can just pick another or pick up a damage slotted if you need more power for event soloing and what not.

Oh, that's a great idea! Thanks!

I'm inclined more for AoPM now, I'm still tweaking and testing things for the build, but I will use your suggestion, it is really helpful, especially for this character : 3
