Since they aren't PA slotted powers, I usually wouldn't add in things like Orbital Cannon, but OC and Implosion Engine have their uses as openers before the PA lockouts hit:
Specializations
Ego: Force of Will(2/2)
Ego: Insight(3/3)
Ego: Follow Through(3/3)
Ego: Sixth Sense(2/3)
Guardian: Fortified Gear(3/3)
Guardian: Ruthless(2/2)
Guardian: Find the Mark(2/3)
Guardian: The Best Defense(3/3)
Vindicator: Aggressive Stance(2/2)
Vindicator: Merciless(3/3)
Vindicator: Focused Strikes(2/3)
Vindicator: Mass Destruction(3/3)
Mastery: Ego Mastery(1/1)
Should have enough energy options to manage all 3 slotted attacks at once. Its a bit glassy, so I gave it 2 ADs and a ranked block enhancer, but you could add stuff like a threat wipe or a self-res instead. Gears mostly for Ego, w/ some End and Rec.

Yeah, lol. The plan was to set the Munition Bots in Turret Mode at either side of me, then activate Orbital Cannon, then throw Implosion Engine, and then while all that is going on independent of me I could go into my 3 toggles with Circle of Arcane Power to keep my energy up, but of course all those offensive powers don't leave much room for anything else XD.
I really like what you did with it though, it looks great! Thank you
Also, gimmicks aside, what would the best power armor dps build be in your opinion? I've changed my build so many times I've lost count, Having something that's optimized would be nice. I'm open to losing the less conventional powers like Orbital Cannon if need be.
Well, the build already has most of the stuff needed for PA's ideal dps: the 3 diff attack toggles listed, Burn Through debuff, Targeting Comp as the passive, a ranged dps toggle, and CoAP to help fuel it all. I didn't keep the pets, as they die to AoE easily, don't add much dps themselves, and will give you an energy penalty (you could use that slot for something else). The only other things you could maybe make room for are an AO or two (if you want to squeeze out a touch more dps that way), or maybe a self-res or a threat wipe, but its up to you what else to prioritize.
An alternative PA build that works very well is a MAINTAIN based power build. The key to this build is the "Wrist bolter" energy builder and Primary Stat "Endurance" (that's correct - Endurance). 1. Wrist Bolter has an advantage you can buy called automated assault which changes it to a hand slot and allows you to fire while channeling other PA toggles (shoulder and chest), it does not build energy if other PA toggles are active. 2. However the Endurance specialization tree has a build called "Kickback" which causes all your other powers to generate energy after using your energy builder attack. 3. Because the Wrist Bolter is firing while the other PA toggles are active its constantly causing your shoulder and chest slot weapons to regen energy. (scales with Endurance/max energy) 4. This essential means you have the equivalent of the PA Ultimate "Fire all Weapons" active all the time for the full toggle period. 5. after that just build dex and ego for dmg, with focus on crit chance and severity 6. Spec points in Endurance tree "Hardened" give a health boost and PA active defense "Unbreakable" gives survival. Concentration, Targeting computer and ranged dmg role buff dmg.
NB! your early game is very weak (stock up on heals) until at least lvl 15, your power grows exponentially from that point on.
Personal preference is to play this as a laser based PA, Eye beams in shoulder slot and chest laser in chest slot for your early powers All my focus in the Endurance spec tree was on building a strong energy base and buffing def. I left the dmg for the lvl 20 and lvl 30 spec trees.
This thread is from last year; its a bit old to be replying to it now. Anyways, that Wrist Bolter setup can work fine as an alternative approach, though its not as ideal as far as dps is concerned. Its not really analogous to Fire All Weapons either, since a main draw of FAW is its large cone AoE, and the beam powers are either single-target or have a small cylinder. But if you don't want to worry about the high energy management of a normal PA build, then you could consider Wrist Bolter w/ adv options, sure.
Much of it comes down to the quality of your gear and how many stats you have in energy generation (via the toggle/form and EU). Going full energy management for the SS's - ex. EGO/End/Rec (w/ Ego Mastery, Insight, and maybe Mental Endurance), INT/End/Rec (w/ Preparation and Expertise), END/Int/Rec (w/ End Mastery, Kickback, and Readiness), or REC/Int/End (w/ Rec Mastery, Staying Power, and Efficient) - can also help. Its going to be tougher at lower levels when you lack the stats and cost discount.
Beyond that, you can settle on using Hand Cannon and/or Shoulder Launcher instead, which have less strident energy requirements. Or try the Wrist Bolter w/ AA adv setup as mentioned above. Or you can go w/ a non-slotted PA build, though you won't have many power options there, and it can't get as high optimal dps.
