Extended Maintenances This Week

Hey folks,

There is going to be some extended maintenance this week on PC, and a general change to our maintenance schedule.

Tuesday, September 25th
We'll have maintenance starting at 5am PT and running for ~ three hours. What Time is this is for me?

Wednesday, September 26th
We'll have maintenance beginning at 5am PT and running for ~ nine hours.
What time is this for me?

Because of this extended maintenance, there will be no maintenance on Thursday, 9/27.

    Again? What is going on with those servers?​​

    that's a lot of missed time for the very important part of the event, I hope it's not going to disappear on the 27 then.

    They never explain what the extended times are for. Doubt that they will extend the time of the event since it has been nearly a month.

    they BETTER extend it, given the event currently going over in STO was already extended a day because of last week's especially long maintenance that one day, and it's being extended another day because of tomorrow's maintenance​​

    Honestly I don't mind if it's not extended, they have to maintain the servers so let it run its course. All we can do is just hope the maintenance is worth it (in whatever way people see fit)

    yeesh...5 days beats the pants off STO's extension - they only got 2

    With this extended duration of the events due to all the maintenances you've made during the month. Should we expect new items in the weekly event store after Thursday ?

    I shouldn't think so. This is an unplanned extension, and adding items to the store requires some planning and testing (and can still end poorly, as last years travel-power debacle demonstrated).

    It's more likely that the weekly specials simply go away, and nothing takes their place for the last 5 days. :'(

    I'd expect it more likely that everything available during the last week will just last an extra week.

    hey im getting a little box in the top left of my screen saying retrying to connect to loauncher for an update. after 5 tries it says to contact tech support. now i have had no issue up till today so is this on there end of the servers, thats why my launcher wont open or update? or do i need to do something

    everything's still down for at least another hour (assuming maintenance doesn't get extended) so it's no surprise that the launcher won't launch​​

    Same. Sure, I'm fairly certain that the whole thing is still under maintenance, but still, I don't think that's normal.

    Looks like the maintenance might have got extended for another two hours. It's listed as 5am to 10am as apposed to 5am to 8am listed here.

    Is this going to do anything for system (in)stability that crashes clients in MC after an hour or two of activity?

    The memory leak is coded deep in the master program. It would require nuking it from the orbit (also known as Exterminatus) and rewriting it from the beginning.

    Thanks for this minor extension, it really is an ideal compromise. Some players, due to their work schedules, had missed some days because there were a few similar maintenance times. Extending it just half-a-week looks really good.

    Also looking forward to Halloween, but am totally happy just to wait half-a-week for those players wanting to finish this anniversary.
