I'm not sure vindicator spec is the most suitable choice in you case.
ok for Extra crit sev but:

-Agressive stance will have reduced benefits because you have low offense in your gear base stats and no impact mods in your primary offense.
-Vindicator mastery seems useless for you, you have no range abilities and no ego stat points.

Protector mastery is cool for tanks, even better if you have more than one active defense. (Reset your active defenses cooldown once every 60sec when under 30% life). Protector spec also give you extra HPmax boost

    or

Guardian would give you 10% crit sev, 30% of def from gear, and a second set of "Best defense"

Vind is still okay for tanks if you have gear w/ high offense bonuses (though usually its not best to mod for it in offensive gear slots- so basically means stuff like 3-set Justice). But yea, I'd prob take Protector, Sentry, or Guardian here instead.

I'd also move the rank in Defiance to R2 of the block. I may also pass on Laser Knight for Haymaker builds- maybe just getting R3 of the block instead, and I'd prob move Challenge from Uppercut to Haymaker. Would prob also get Elusive instead of Slaughter in Warden. Neither Tough nor Quick Healing give good returns in Con PSS, so I'd likely replace those w/ Adren Rush and Fuel My Fire.

A Confront mod in your offensive gear can also help w/ threat gen.

    So I tested the changes:

    With Warden My Stats Were:

    Strength: 207
    CON: 533
    END: 81
    Offense: 306.7
    Defense: 253.2
    Crit Chance: 19.2
    Crit Sev: 83.7

    With Protector My Stats Were:

    Strength: 207
    CON: 513
    END: 81
    Offense: 146
    Defense: 217.2
    Crit Chance: 19.2
    Crit Sev: 73.7

He seems more tanky with the Warden/Guardian specs and I took CON Mastery to get the additional 20 CON with 14,335 health pool.

If I switch out Legion's Breastplate of Agilty for Defense - I have it slotted with 2 CON mods and to impact prisms (all level 7) his stats change to
    Strength: 80
CON: 652 - giving him a health pool of 16,131
    Offense: 345.6
    Defense: 288.1

I'm not really sure what way to take him. Using Defiance against the trash mobs in the trainer he takes a ton of damage and the heals don't seem to help too much.

Bulwark in Protector should also be buffing your maxHP in Tank role, and you can also count the AD cd reduction from Defensive Expertise in there (plus potentially its mastery). While Warden also has Elusive as an option and can still be good for tanks, only looking at the stats you did will paint a bit of an incomplete picture. I'm a bit confused at the comparison overall, though, as the original suggestion was not dropping Warden, but dropping Vindicator.

And yea, Defiance isn't the best passive for trash mobs- its more suited to big hits. The other defensive passives can potentially handle trash better.

Go Protector/Sentry. Yes it has a lil bit less damage, but better survivability. As for trash mobs (especially for someone that uses Defiance), I find that taking 3 ADs (Masterful Dodge, Resurgence, and Unbreakable) help a lot. I get a lot of flak for it, but it works for me in both cosmics, alerts, and mobs (always, always use Unbreakable first when you fight mobs). You can also go sentinel mastery, but you'd need to have some damage debuffs and other things to boost your defense up.

Finna just drop some Might builds here as examples. You're welcome to take them and implement into your current build or or copy some outright. ((Buy another breastplate as well. Something with defense, hp, or both will be better than the current one you have now))

First build uses the 3 ADs I mentioned from the earlier post. Uses Str/Con/End. Doesn't have Defensive combo, but uses Uppercut and Haymaker to get aggro for single target and Havock stomp for AoE (and a damage debuff). I used Telekinetic Shielding since it gives a 17% defense boost after you block. Just tap it for a few sec and you get the buff for 10 seconds. It also has a 50% higher defense rate for physical damage.

The last build uses IDF for the passive toggle instead of Enrage. Thing is, you can still stack enrage even without Enrage or Aspect of the Beastial. Thanks to Uppercut + Haymaker, Roomsweeper, Havock Stomp, Unbreakable, and Thunderclap, you can get your stacks up with IDF. Doesn't work with other forms since they are either damage or healing forms. While you can't just tap knock to keep the enrage stacks up, you can still charge Havock Stomp halfway to get the enrage stack as well as the full Upperut + haymaker combo and unbreakable's "Better You Than Me" advantage.

Some good insights. I'm trying to find a good way to balance game mechanics with my toon's style. He's kind of a "Statesman" "All Might" kind of hero. Like raw power/tankish type of guy. So it's been hard to balance him given the game mechanics. I like the invulnerability passive for tanking, but the energy unlock with incend grenade doesn't fit his build.

I was trying to see if there was a punch type of power in wind that could generate energy with the unlock for wind, but I'm not finding anything that would fit the build. The idea is that he hits so hard the wind pressure does the damage. But I don't think it's gonna work and he'll have issues with energy.

So far it seems like IDF with Defiance is working really well. I just use havoc stop to build max stacks of enrage and defiance buff isn't a problem either. He absorbs those trash mob hits very well and then with max stack of defiance he's pretty tanky. Energy isn't a problem because of defiance and I can use skills that fit the theme of the toon. I had no idea about IDF.

I also swapped out my chest plate for Legions' Defense Breastplate

IDF is usually not a great pick, but in this particular case its a bit specialized cause you have attacks that can build Enrage w/o needing the toggle. It can work well, but you have to build around those sort of attacks.

(also, not really sure if the devs intend for you to actually be able to keep >1 Enrage stacks when using IDF like that, as it goes against the paradigm for toggles following that rule)

Repels can happen on attacks that can KB if they are resisted, which can happen more often on some of them if you don't fully charge them. That said, I prob wouldn't take Wind Reverb for Might in most cases (its a somewhat underwhelming EU as is, imo).

Since my guy is mostly a might character (aka fist punch face smash) , it seems to work very well with him.

I decided that anything wind wasn't gonna do well. The Uppercut, Haymaker combo on bosses seems to hold the stack of enrage vs the Havoc Stomp.
