Not pushing these costume change emotes out now leads me to believe they want to monetize them more? My thoughts were all would be available today, by the methods available on the PTS. Questionte store, drifter, & so on. So they will put all these emotes in a lockbox?
Yeah I was looking around and all I could find was the two free ones.
Hi, it's me. The Catastrophic Pummeling guy again. Would it be possible for the after image to not have the Back slot? Cause it looks really spastic when you are using wings or capes.
Wardicator:
We've literally had years to prepare for this adjustment. Seriously, we were told a long time ago about the infinite loop bug. Even with the bug fix, Wardicator still provides oodles of defense. I'm not sure why some people are so upset.
Precisely. It's still good and usable, just not ridiculous and the obvious easy go to anymore.
"Freeform Slots allow you to create a new character and cherry-pick powers from any of the power frameworks, instead of having to pick one Archetype. Freeform Slots are half off this week for 2400 ZEN (Normally 3000 ZEN)."

This is all a bit Tlon. I'm not sure anyone is actually that upset about the fix, other than the way that they fixed it wasn't the kindest to mid-gear/mid-level characters. Personally I could do without the astroturfing and comforting statements about new metas, though, especially from long-term players who have had all the time in the world to rinse the bug for all it was worth. There's the distinct smell of humbug about that. Still, onwards and upwards....
I think once they learn long gloves and boots, we will be getting there. Point though for then partial and face paint option.
Like the wings don't flap...but they have the sound effects for them. These and the ones they added to nemesis should either get an either or both flap and work with jetpacks. Not doing either is ...i dunno, silly.

See, I actually like the way they did these boots. With two 'foot' options and two options for the calf, you can mix and match to make 4 different kinds of boots (or use the individual parts and pair them with any other costume piece that works). I like that versatility. Granted, it's kind of absurd to break those particular pieces into three different costume unlocks, but I like what you can do with them.
Anyway, eye of the beholder and all that. The head wings and butt plate are kinda goofy to me, but there are a lot of pieces here that I'm gonna want to put on all of my characters.
I can't understand what is the theme of this costume set, It tries to be both Super Sentai but it also has power armour mechas influences (doesn't help that the NPC doesn't even have a BIO or a lore option) Who is he? and why is he such a massive Jabroni?
loving what you gave us 2 Foot Accesories with those, more flexible than the DAMN 3 copy-pasted boots from buccaneer (please DON'T do that ever again) which could easily have Foot Accesories pieces as well with all those belts
Anyway, eye of the beholder and all that. The head wings and butt plate are kinda goofy to me, but there are a lot of pieces here that I'm gonna want to put on all of my characters.
Yeah the 2 costume pieces for Armoured Buttcheeks and Crotch are incredible silly stand alone, what's the deal with them?

I was gonna use the wings but they are just... kinda ugly and they clip with everything on shoulderpads
I'm sticking with the Wings Bladed Mecha from nemesis instead
Really sucks when you buy something which doesn't come out as you were planning

I like the Shoulderpands, the Bracers, the collar, the Foot Accessory, Side Accessory, the Chest Armour and the Head gear+Eye accesories which are indeed the strongest part of this set
Tights are nice, they give a Tron -Cyberspace feeling
and Feet and Crotch protections are ugly... metal thong perhaps is the best way to describe it
Wings are ridiculous, not really great of design
The chest piece is nice but the bolt nipples are disturbing and all the hip pieces are....just like metal thongs.
I cannot unseen the bolt nipples now

Was referring tights...that bastard child of the zstore
Ah, true that. The short gloves/boots single-handedly tanked the last tights set from being "awesome and very usable!" to "crap, I don't really like this at all".
The boots I can agree with, but I found that not many options are available with the foot accessory to crate a boot, Most clip.
The chest piece is nice but the bolt nipples are disturbing and all the hip pieces are....just like metal thongs.
I don't mind intimidating villains with robo-nipples, so I like the chest. Both of the new shoulders are instant favorites, though, that's the highlight for me. Anyway, hope you get some use out of some of them, at least.
Love the set but comeon! Missed opportunity for a mega man hand blaster
So true. I've been using the Halloween hook glove without the hook attachment and a few select bracers like the steam and mecha to fake a megaman buster gun for years. It would be nice to have the real deal.
Missed opportunity to take advantage of the Incredibles 2 hype
They don't exactly have their finger on the pulse of superhero stuff, ironically. Incredibles, infinity war, ant-man & wasp, black panther (which would have been an amazing place to start with animal-themed heroes with stylized costume parts, not big animal heads and not castlevania wolf armor suit, as well as African culture themed stuff) but instead we get anime robots and pirates.
Sadly superhero stuff doesn't seem to sell well in this game.

Actually I'd say it's more that their development cycle doesn't support rushing to imitate whatever's at the box office. Besides, pretty sure you can already make a decent imitation of Wasp... and the Incredibles, prob most of the Avengers too. Oh and Dracula.
That's where "having your finger on the pulse" becomes important. These movies are not surprises. We know about them years ahead of time (Black Panther was announced four years ago). Four years is obviously a bit too early to start working on costume assets and such, sure, but when you know the projected release date you can start planning ahead. Create assets ahead of time so that they're ready to go when the movie is released. There shouldn't be any rush involved.
There's no excuse for not being able to make relevant costumes and releases, but there are reasons; they just don't seem interested in it.
Edit: Forgot to add that the excuses (we can already make a pretty good Wasp, etc.) are silly. We could already make a pretty good pirate or anime robot before, so why are we getting those costumes? The point is that some relevancy to popular stuff might help sales and (if I'm being honest and selfish) try to keep the game in the genre that it's supposed to be.
But they kind of did the Ant-Man stuff. With the Super Magnifer/Shrinker things they did.
*shrinks to size of an ant and runs away*
The main problem is, that Cryptic Engine doesn't handle super-hero stuff that well. The TIGHTS man, the TIGHTS!!!

While I agree with all of this, those leg accessories from the new box actually worked perfectly for my bee-themed Wasp homage, so it wasn't a total miss. Tech-y stuff works well enough for tapping into recent MCU movies, and I think several pieces in this one are versatile enough to help with real western 'comic book' looks.
*immediately edited because I screw up double-quotes every single time.
Eh, glad someone likes the new costume. The costume transforms look great, shame they're character bound. The new dance emote is nice, shame it's character bound. Double XP weeks used to make me so happy. It's hard to see the positives when the game you love decides you're no longer welcome.

I actually thought the bracers were pretty decent on the set. I wish I liked more of it. I still get excited when a new costume comes out but lately they've been more misses than hits.
And in the movies thanos is just wearing a shirt u3u the current key pack has a shirt... make tropical thanos

Form of the Swordsman no longer has the Cut Where it Counts Advantage. My Blade was refunded the advantage points today. Undocumented change or bug?
Any word on this? Do I spend the Advantage points elsewhere or was this unintentional? Or was this an earlier change I missed going through that just showed up on the latest patch? (I played the character the day before this patch and he had the advantage, but maybe it was an earlier change that didn't kick in until patch day. I read the last couple release notes and didn't see it, though.)

This prove me again and again the old item/craft system was way better than this grab&dash.
