Is there more to the Tailor camera?

Really what I'm wondering is if you can move the camera in the tailor vertically. So I could get a closer look at gloves/bracers or footwear when zooming in. Right now I just zoom in as close as I can before the hands/feet are out of view as the camera closes in on the face of my toon.

We do not have vertical control over the tailor's camera, though it would be very helpful for looking at the details of the lower body. One interesting quirk I think might help you is to swap to Beast stance and then back to one of the upright stances. The camera will always try to zoom in on the last known position of the head. It doesn't seem to update to the new stance immediately, only just before the stance actually changes.

Darn. I was hoping there was something a little more reliable and a little less complex.

Tailor camera should work same way the Character Overview camera works. You can pan, tilt, zoom etc.

Console commands may do that. Will look into which are needed. At work ATM.

    alright.

So these may prove to be a little frustrating.

    Bind to two keys.

    turns it off
    /CostumeCreator.MouseRotate3D 0

    turns it on
    /CostumeCreator.MouseRotate3D 1

This will help you get a different point of view on your character model.

That sounds cool. I used to have the worst problem with some of the older and skin-fitting female hairstyles- you could have a perfectly black hair, but you'd have this tiny little dot, perhaps where the polygons meet on the head shape, that unfortunately looks white, like a bald patch. It's easy enough to ignore, and newer hairstyles don't have the issue, but it's cool there's commands to move the camera about a little.
