Hello build gurus.
I return with yet another request. I recently subbed for a few months and so had access to soooo many FF slots (sorry, I'm a silver who has long wanted this but could not afford it).
I've made two toons previously which have superb theme-based builds (thanks to you guys of course) which I have been employing as CC toons. I now wanted to make a toon specifically as a Tribute/Homage to superheroes I have grown up with.
TO that end I wanted to request a decently damaging tank Superman build... Super strength, Eye beams. Don't really care for freeze breath. That will cover most unarmed superheroes and the eye beams will take care of the likes of Cyclops from the X-men, etc.
If possible, I'd like the last couple or so power slots to be open so I can add, e.g., claws for Wolverine, maybe an archery attack for Green Arrow/Hawkeye.
As always, thank you all for your consistent guidance and help.

That aside, what other powers or attacks would you like? Aside from claws and maybe an Archery attack, I'm a bit unclear what you want. You said a Superman build, but in CO that'd most practically be enshrined in a Might/Haymaker build.

That being said, I don't want all the other powers to be locked out either (Cyclops disapproves).
Haymaker is a definite, because what better?
Thunderclap, maybe? (Hulk likey).
One Hundred Hands to show his superspeed during battle (Flash has ideas now).
Is there an Earth power that makes your toon stomp real hard and bring forth lava? Like Madstone does. Or maybe we can put in a power that allows you to throw large pieces of earth (larger than or equal to what Ripper throws).
Can these be worked around into a good damage tank build?
An AoE Claws attack and Brimstone can cover Wolverine, Thor, even Gandalf.
What do you say?

Well, then there's Force Cascade with Head emanation point. Since Cyke's beam doesn't burn....
And Supes uses his heatvision separately anyways.
And playing by myself since Aug 2009

FC is a very energy intensive move, and scatters targets. You can take a basic blast w/ head emanation or something from TP, if you accept a burst of energy and not a continuous beam. 100Hands will also be kinda redundant for the build in a practical sense. And then there's still Archery to fit in somehow? I guess Fissure is what you want if its Earth w/ lava, or Hurl in Might for just a quick throw of rock.
That's kinda the issue w/ taking disparate powers in CO and trying to smash them together into one build- they often just won't work very well w/ eachother.
I guess here's one way to jam most of them in:

Alternates between VF and Haymaker, while throwing in Hurl and/or TClap for MSA. On trash that you don't want to knock away you can just remove Haymaker from the rotation and use TClap on cd. Arrow Torrent is for theme, but also for a long-ranged attack and opener. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Int/Rec.

In the meantime, if you could use that magic of yours and conjure up a second build of purely might with just Torrent and Viper's as outsiders, that would be even more awesome!
Thanks a million!

VF doesn't knock to proc Enrage, so it wouldn't be a great fit in Might builds using that toggle/form. Torrent can be made to knock, but the scatter KB could be annoying for melee followups.
