Can't play Silver characters

I bought a month's worth of Gold subscription today, granting me access to a series of freeform slots, but the 'PLAY' buttons on my previous characters with archetypes are greyed out, and don't allow me to click on them. Can I get a response as to why this is?

    Because you have to convert characters from silver to gold to play them as gold.

    My one month sub is about to end.
    WIll I lose access to my ATs if I don't sub again?

    Anything GOLD you’ll lose access to, even costume bits

    So I'll have to convert them back to SIlver ATs?
    And will they be convertible to Gold ATs again?

    As a Silver you convert ATs you want play to Silver ones. And as Gold, you convert ATs you want to play Gold ones.
    Just remember, once you're Silver you get to play only the AT's you've bought.
    And, you only have access to Character Slots you've bought after going back to Silver.

    One huge warning about switching AT's from Silver to Gold and back again.

    There is an existing bug that will break your selected Specialization Tree choices. This happens when you go from Gold AT to Silver AT. Your spec tree will broken (See the Image Below) and will stop working.




    The only way to fix it is to either: A) Spend 50 resources to retrain the tree or B.) Purchase a retcon. This will be per character, so it can get expensive.

    This is a long standing bug— I've reported it multiple times over the years. In your shoes, I wouldn't switch my AT's from Silver to Gold if you plan on not staying subbed for a while.
