EGO/Dex/Con could also work for the SS setup (still Dex-focused, and taking 3/3 in 6th Sense; 2ndary talents can get some Rec). STR/Dex/Con would be an even more sturdy version with 3/3 in Juggernaut, but w/ less dps.
For single-target dps, it just alternates between Ego Weaponry and charged EBA. EBF can be the main AoE (I traded the dps of R3 for its nice dmg shield adv, though that's optional).
If you want it more like a glass cannon, you could sub Con SS out and take either a DEX/Rec/Ego or a EGO/Dex/Rec SS setup (both still Dex-focused). Can also take R3 of Ego Weaponry and use Mental Storm to build Stress instead (and add some DoT dmg), though this takes an extra power slot and longer buildup time for Stress.
Yea, its innate dmg bonus is via Ego, though that still obeys the normal rules for Str_Ego scaling (ie. soft-caps at 70, & is in the passive dmg bonus layer).
