Dark dimensions in CO lore?

Just wondering if there are any dark dimensions to use for backstory? Something like the Darkforce from Marvel Comics. I've got an idea for a guy that teleports and manipulates a dark energy, like a combination of Nightcrawler, Cloak, and Blackout.
