So, back in the day, I created a speedster character called "Bolt" for the pen & paper Champions. He was basically just really fast, no special lightning effects or anything like that. I've been agonizing over his representation HERE.
I've given him a couple of wind-based powers, on the premise that his punches and movements are so fast he's creating a wind effect in his wake. However, I'm really having a hard time figuring out how to build him, and I thought I'd come and troll for ideas.
There are a few basic things I need.
First, the idea is that he be TANKY. I solo most of the time, but I want him to be the kind of hero who grabs the enemy's attention, distracting them and avoiding their attacks so the others can do the damage. That means, mainly, that he have the ability to survive, and Regeneration is by far the most survivable of the passives I've tried. So, Regeneration is writ in stone. However, since having the challenge and other such powers has been, in my experience, a waste of advantage points (since nearly EVERYONE does so much damage now that holding aggro is nearly impossible), I've also not included any of those kinds of advantages. Not writ in stone, but not something I think is worthwhile.
Beyond that, he needs thematic powers or powers that have a visual that looks like something super-speedy.

The lunge and Conviction can proc MSA for extra energy; otherwise, charged Dragon Uppercut can give you Rush for more energy that way. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Int.
