Force Tank?

I am looking for a good Force Tank build that may or may not use Defiance as a passive - I love that passive.

Any ideas?

Defiance is nice just with the extra energy for Force Cascade:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform
    v2.3.2-28

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Constitution (Primary)
    Level 10: Intelligence (Secondary)
    Level 15: Endurance (Secondary)

    Talents
Level 1: The Cybernetic Warrior (Con: 10, Int: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
Level 6: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
Level 9: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Investigator (Int: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 21: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Force Bolts
Level 1: Force Blast (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
Level 6: Force Shield (Rank 2, Rank 3, Force Sheathe)
    Level 8: Defiance
    Level 11: Concentration
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Crushing Wave (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
Level 23: Force Cascade (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
    Level 26: Masterful Dodge
Level 29: Force Geyser (Rank 2, Challenge!)
    Level 32: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 35: Lock N Load (Rank 2)
Level 38: Circle of Primal Dominion (Rank 2)
    Adv. Points: 33/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Constitution: Unyielding (1/2)
    Constitution: Fuel My Fire (3/3)
    Constitution: Resilient (2/2)
    Constitution: Adrenaline Rush (2/2)
    Constitution: Armored (2/2)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (2/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (2/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Mastery: Constitution Mastery (1/1)

FBlast and CW can be used as cheaper ways to tag enemies, while FC is your big hitter when energy is abundant. FGeyser can help roll MSA. If theme permits, getting some out-of-set Crushing debuffs may be nice- like via Muni's AP debuff or Chest Beam's Burn Through. Gears mostly for Con, w/ some Int and End/Rec.

Can enrage be used in place of Concentration?

Not as ideal as using a ranged dps toggle, and you'll want to SS (maybe PSS) Str. But yea, Enrage + Str can work too.

Thanks I have a Force based character using Enraged that needs to be retconed.

Why exactly Masterful Dodge? Force isn't a Dexterity or Dodge-based set.

I would rather get Gravity Driver, the Force Ultimate from the Ravenswood Lockbox.

MD puts you well past 100% dodge, even at R1, and since it also boosts base avoidance to the 50-60% range you basically halve all inc dmg for the duration. Due to DR on dodge/avoid ratings, technically you could say that non-dodge builds get more mileage from it than dodge builds. If you want to avoid MD for theme reasons, then you could go w/ Unbreakable I guess, though its generally not as versatile and demands ranking to be better (unlike MD). Ice Barrier is another possibility, though again not generally as good imo.

I would rather get Gravity Driver, the Force Ultimate from the Ravenswood Lockbox.

Okay. If you have it unlocked and want to use it, then take it. You'd have to decide what to trade for it, though.

The charge time on this makes it fairly useless for a tank (I know, I tried it).
