    I don't think there's an MA-specific dmg core yet.

Modding kinda depends on ur priorities. For dps and threat gen, its hard to go wrong w/ crit and/or severity. Bonus heal mods can boost survival a bit when combined w/ self-heals. Dodge rating is also good for dodge-based tanks (if using R3 LR, then forgo avoidance rating since the passive puts you heavy into its DR), but general maxHP boosts can also be good. CD reduction is nice for utility, assuming ur not having many energy issues and are using cd-based heals and/or ADs.

Flow on your TK build i was wondering which would be the better power to get for the last power slot the ultimate mental impact or medusa's lance rain either one I'd have to farm to get just was wondering which to spend the time to get?
  • flowcytoflowcyto Posts: 9,402 Arc User
I'd prob get Mental Impact as the ult, since it has some burst dps, CC, and applies the Overpower debuff for team dps.

I saw the growth build you do with a combo of earth and might what would a moslty bestial supernatural using the Miniaturization Drive (Rank 2, Reciprocating Gizmo) be like and which would get the longest use out of the mini drive?
  • flowcytoflowcyto Posts: 9,402 Arc User
Mini Drive is on a cd that's prob gonna be longer than the uptime, and the dmg bonus is subject to DR (so its not great if ur a geared dps), but the size increase is fun I guess.

You didn't really specify which attacks you want to use in Bestial, so I'll just give a Massacre build w/ Mini Drive:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform
    v2.3.1-25

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Endurance (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Devastator (Str: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 10, End: 8)
Level 6: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)
Level 9: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Bodybuilder (Str: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Relentless (Str: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 21: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Infernal Bolts
Level 1: Shred (Rank 2, Penetrating Strikes)
    Level 6: Supernatural Power
    Level 8: Pestilence (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Lacerating Cyclone (Rank 2, Vortex Technique)
    Level 14: Enrage (Endorphin Rush)
    Level 17: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 20: Pounce (Furious Rush)
Level 23: Massacre (Rank 2, Bloody Mess)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Miniaturization Drive (Rank 2, Reciprocating Gizmo)
    Level 32: Aggressor (Rank 2)
    Level 35: Antagonize (Rank 2)
    Level 38: Rebirth
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (2/3)
    Strength: Overpower (1/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Puts up bleeds and Shredded w/ Shred, and then spams Massacre- refreshing debuffs w/ Shred. Gears mostly for Str, w/ some Con and Rec/End.

If you wanted a short cd so Mini Drive's uptime is close to 100%, you'd prob need something like Int SS, Int gearing, cd reduction, AoAC and/or Rec PSS 2nd Wind (or Int PSS's Revitalize). None of these are at all ideal for Bestial dps, though, so I prob wouldn't worry about it and accept partial uptime on the cd.

most of the builds i ask for are to compare them to my many different heroes i've not played in i think 2 years was the length of this time off i did, speaking of which i was looking at one of my old heroes and U'd like him back using force powerset i dont know if i want dps or tank role tho.
  • flowcytoflowcyto Posts: 9,402 Arc User
Well, if taking a dps route I'd prob use either Hybrid + AoPM, Quarry + Int SS, or Unstoppable + Rec SS for Force. For a tank, I'd take Defiance- or PFF if you want to ignore Con SS and get another energy SS.

Power Source w/ Ionic Reverb and Elec Current's 3-pt adv is a newer option, since the last one fills up ur energy like an end builder, but then ur relying on Elec stuff to keep energy flowing.

Here's an AoPM Force dps, as an example:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform
    v2.3.1-25

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Intelligence (Primary)
    Level 10: Endurance (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Glacier (Dex: 8, Con: 10, Int: 10, End: 10)
Level 6: Healthy Mind (Con: 5, Int: 5)
Level 9: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Investigator (Int: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Negotiator (Int: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 21: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Force Bolts
Level 1: Force Blast (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Force Shield (Rank 2, Force Sheathe)
Level 8: Aura of Primal Majesty (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Concentration
    Level 14: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Molecular Self-Assembly
Level 20: Force Cascade (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Force Geyser (Nailed to the Ground)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Crushing Wave (Rank 2, Rank 3, Disruptive Force)
    Level 32: Lock N Load (Rank 2)
Level 35: Gravity Driver (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 38: Rebirth
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Intelligence: Preparation (2/2)
    Intelligence: Enlightened (3/3)
    Intelligence: Detect Vulnerability (3/3)
    Intelligence: Expertise (2/2)
    Avenger: Ruthless (2/2)
    Avenger: Round 'em Up (3/3)
    Avenger: Offensive Expertise (2/2)
    Avenger: Preemptive Strike (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (2/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Mastery: Intelligence Mastery (1/1)

Uses the blast and Geyser when energy is low, and also throws in FC when energy is abundant. Gears mostly for Int, while AoPM boosts every stat a decent amount.

how good is a grenade build going to be I thought I saw someone else start a post about it but couldn't find said post? was thinking maybe using mini mines to and break away or parting shot use the 2 if i get in melee drop mines and jump back maybe implosion engine also to pull the group together then throw in some grenades I have no idea what role would be best for said build.
  • flowcytoflowcyto Posts: 9,402 Arc User
The basic issue w/ grenades or mines is that none of them are spammable, though you can fill up on a buncha cds and use a Crushing dmg filler attack like Tac Missiles (since it will be boosted by Crushing debuffs).

If you want to be a huge Kaiju, then why don't you use Aspect of the Bestial's Giant Growth?
its a zero points cosmetic adv that on 8 stacks of enrage will help with your theme

Also, wouldn't you want a breath weapon of some sort? Could take Venom Breath in there for AoE:

    I assume you mean this:

    http://aesica.net/co/herocreator.htm?v=26&n=&d=13210abGA9PK000000E000E20ZEI00EA03B700EO05ET0bER03EG0GON01EP00EE03K600MS010d773T3B2MGB

    That's a formal tank build.

Main AoE is just using Shuriken Storm. For bosses or tougher targets you use TKicks to put up its dodge buff every ~12 sec or so, and use charged Dragon Uppercut as ur main single-target dps/threat tool. Imbue is an AO, so you pop it when you want a bit more dps and threat gen, and/or to help break from a hold. Resurgence and Masterful Dodge are ADs, you use them defensively to counteract spike dmg (Resurgence is just a big heal used to recover from low health; MD guarantees you'll dodge each inc hit for the duration, so its better for when you anticipate high dmg inc). Can keep BCR running in the background for the extra healing regardless.
